[ACT III] Bank Robbery Siegfried says 'Go' Please help

O.k. I am completely stuck on Act 3, I have got to the point where the bank robbery is on, when it first happened I spoke to Velerad and said "Wait for Siegfried" now they all just stand around outside the bank and everytime I approach Sigfried he just says "Go", I have done most other things, but the Bank, Town Hall and Warehouse doors are locked. Can anybody give me a clue where to go or what to do as I seem to have done just about everything else you can do including the side questsPlease Help

Normally you should get access into the bank through the warehouse after you talked to Velerad

You can wait for Siegfried .. in which case you go in a different way.I think it's supposed to be the town hall door, in which the OP's game may be bugged .. but since I haven't done the quest this way since way back when, I don't know for sure.
not valid, test version

Try going in through the Town Hall front doors -- It's a double door; make sure and check both sides.

Yeah it seems like the doors should do it.

Sorry, but it didn't work, I tried both sides of the bank and town hall doors but they are locked.A little more information as to where I amGold Rush - I should speak with SiegfriedIdentity - I beleive not every monster deserves to dieThe Unforgiven - I must convince Yaevin and the Elves or Siegfried and his friends to join us.So I have remained neutral in Chapter 2killed all the salamndra in chapter 3, in the swamp and temple quater and brought the documents to Declan Leuvaarden done all Vaska stuffcompletely stuck now

Shouldn't you go through the warehouse back door and its cellar with fledders?

I would if I could, but the warehouse door is locked

Sounds like Siegfried advanced to the next decision tree and without the doors unlocking.I smell a reload.

So I have remained neutral in Chapter 2

How did you decide in Chapter 2 in regard to the fight in the swamp? Don't know the English quest title... "Clarification"? You were supposed to side with the Scoia'Tael or the Order. The decsion you have made there has consequences on the bank robbery quest. I don't remember if the Chap 2 quest had a neutral option.

I think neutral is when you simply miss that quest...

I kinda feel like you are supppose to do the bank quest way before the other quests you have done (like killing all the salamandra and knowing the identity of the werewolf..).I know you can just ignore the back quest but I have a feeling you are suppose to do it before those. Since it has a lot to do with whether you alliance yourself with the Squirrels or the Order.I'm in act III myself and didnt have any problems (sided with the Order). So my advice is that you reloud from an earlier save and try to do the back quest as soon as the boy tells you to go there.

I have finished the game also once and sided with the Scoia'Tael. In chap III are a couple of quests beforehand, availabe depending on previous deciscion Scoia'Tael / Order. The last quest for Yaevinn (Echoes from yesterday) triggered the bank robbery quest.

There are two triggers for "Gold Rush": one is "Echoes of Yesterday" and one is "Six Feet Under". I wonder if it is at all possible to do both of those sub-quests or if they are completly mutually exclusive.

You can do both, but only if you do them before "A Posh Reception"I just did the gold rush quest with Siegfried, and here's how it went:I told Velerad I'd wait for Siegfried, then Siegfried turns up, says something about having keys to town hall.Nothing happens, I can't go in any doors .. I talk to Siegfried, and he says "ready to go?" or somesuch. Then he goes running off and enters the town hall.I suspect the OP's quest is broken because it's clashing with "the Unforgiven."

Thanks for suggestions, yes I stayed neutral in Chapter 2, but in Chapter 3 Yaevin was nowhere to be found. I think it is a decision tree problem, which hacks me off, things like that should not occur. I have now had to go back to pretty much the start of chapter 3, this time I am trying to get all the side quests out of the way and 6 feet under before I go to the reception. Trouble is that save was 11 days ago and have just spent 12 hours continuous playing getting everything else done. Next stop the boy followed by the reception. God I'm annoyed. Just hope that it works this time.

Did you look for Yaevinn in the Grove?

From a certain time in the game (after certain quests) you find him in Vivaldi's house in the Tempel Quarter. I think when you get the quest to find allies to rough up Salamandra hideout... Yaevinn or Siegfried.
