[ACT III] Dialogue choices about telling Triss why you sided with the Order

I wasn't satisfied by the 3 dialogue choices to tell Triss why I sided with the Order. Something like: 1. I still feel human. 2. They are the lesser of 2 evils .3. I just did for no particular reason.I would have liked to be able to choose some options like this instead that better reflect my feelings about why I chose Order:4. Siegfried is my friend, I like him and we helped each other out many times. 5. I hate Yaevinn, really can't stand that guy at all.6. I like the looks of the Order much better.7. I believe the Order's cause is just. And also I would have liked to have the option to let Geralt choose to take Siegfried's offer to become an Order Knight and get a medal. Do you think they didn't let the player make that choice because they didn't make Order armor that would fit upon Geralt? I was disappointed for Geralt to automatically make that decision for me when I wanted to make it for myself. I woulda chosen to be an Order Knight and get my medal.

well, the Order requires celibacy of it's members. which, as I recall, is not one of Geralt's strong points....

EXACTLY what I've had chosen. Makes the whole thing look a bit like some political propaganda, where if you side with the 'wrong' side, you are a stupid hunk, who has no ability of autonomy.

I think this is yet another thing that many people would love to be implemented, but just doesn't fit with Geralt's character.

I wonder if the cutscene & ingame movies have anything to do with it.I noticed that at Shani's party, she was in her lingerie because after the party started, I went and did the autopsy at the hospital with her during the middle of the party. When I went back to the party, she was in her lingerie with the party still going on.Then when the cutscene started with Dandelion singing us all a song, Shani in the cutscene suddenly had on her normal green suit, not her lingerie (maybe Shani is secretly Wonder Woman who can magically twirl around and change outfits in a split second ;D). But it would seem to indicate that the cutscenes don't just take the same character that is in the room and have her move around into the cutscene, but rather the cutscenes just show a pre-defined image of that character that isn't the same thing as the actual character in the room.. Why that relates to this thread is because it makes me think maybe they'd have to manually redo the all movies & cutscenes with Geralt in Order armor if they gave that option. Just a guess/speculation.

Quite right. Of course anybody is entitled to play Witcher any way they see fit but Sapkowski's Geralt didn't have a good track record with Order or Scoia’tael.

Hmm, when I supported the Scoia'tael in my second playthrough, I told Triss I believed their cause was just, or something to that effect. Triss then said I was the same Geralt she remembered from the past, siding with the underdogs and the oppressed.

Oh sure, Geralt would side with "underdogs and opressed" but not with Scoia'tael as a movement. He would also help a knights in trouble but would stop short of supporting Order.
