If you fistfight with the guy who has an actual name (Andrew Glabodda), red meteorite ore is one of the rewards you can choose, or you can choose a blue rune instead. You can buy blue meteorite ore from Malcolm Stein's apprentice. There are a couple more at the chapter's end, but you probably want them before then.
The guy you fistfight with is in the Inn in the Trade Quarter -- the New Narakort -- just like all the other fistfighters have been.Malcolm Stein, the dwarven blacksmith is in the nonhuman section of the Temple Quarter. The only rune I can think of (at the end of Act 3) is the one in the kikimore queen's lair (on a dead body in the collapsible tunnel), which is found in the act-ending quest between Acts 3 and 4.There is a Witcher wiki which lists all runes & meteorite stones and where to get them. Just Google: Witcher Wiki Meteorite.Alternatively, find the Harvall sword in the swamp (wyvern island). It is only surpassed in steel by the 3 red meteorite reforged sword.You should be able to finish Act 3 and get a quest-related silver sword at the end of Act IV. And of course, more rune stones can be found DURING Act 4.Most people don't need to reforge their silver one EVER in the game, as long as you use oils and get Aerodight later.
There's another one in the crate near the yrden circle inside the salamandra cave just before the kikimore queen's cave too (i played the game at least 10 times before i ever noticed that circle of elements!) -- there's a second power stone there too(this circle is to the right after you meet either Yaevinn or Siegfried in the cave after being teleported by Triss, whereas Alvaro's portal is to the left -- to give you some idea of where to look. And if you want to check this area out without too much trouble, do not activate the portal until you have done so)
yeah... it's the Sun runestone 8) And in an other crate there you find "Curses and the Cursed" (just in case you don't have it). I just finished that part (once again) yesterday and remember it.
ohh man you killed the werewolf..thats not the best idea///but its not my story but okay...........i know if you killed Ramsmeat youll get Yellow Meteorritesometimes when you kill characters and enemies youll find Metoers......but the runes are more diffucult to find but in the Trade qaurter some of the merchants sell runes.....if they dont then ive probably sold them one and forgot...
