OK, at this point you suppose to have White Raffard Decortion formula. Prepare some in case you're too low on Vitality. First take Tany Awl & Swallow right after you enter the cave & the rocks fall-down behind blocking your way. If you've taken the potion before & the effect won't last long, clean your-self with white honey & re-drink the potion.Here the strategy:- Finish off the Salamander around you first. Just stay & wait for them to come over. Don't get to close to the professor. This way you can also kill off the Kikimore Worker around (or you can even stand still & let the Alzur Shield do the job) . Igni sign + Group style is preferable to a quick finish.- After that, get to the professor. He will talk craps to you, just start the fight. There'll be 2 Kikimore Warrior accompany the Professor in the fight. THIS IS IMPORTANT ! Don't get cornered or you're doom (therefore, don't just stand between the 3 column in middle of the cave, run around !!). 2 Kikimore Warriors will chop up your head if you get cornered. There's for prepare to cast Aard sign to blow at least one away. - Try to finish the Kikimores one-by-one before get your hand on the Professor. This beast aint gonna stunned or knocked down by your Aard sign, so it's better to use Igni to set it on fire & strong silver style to finish it off. Don't dare trying the group style here because it simply does not work again the big Kikimore. - If you're too low on hit point, just cast Aard sign to blow away the Kikimores & try running around until you recover.gordo129 said:
Kill the salamanders before you run up to him, then strong steel the professor until he's dead. Ignore the kikimores. You should be able to beat the professor after just a few chained combos. It was a really easy fight for me...

In fact, he was not really stronger than the average Salamandra scum when I faced him...I felt a little cheated not having had a more fierce battle with him - he would have deserved a better show-down than getting eaten by a huge lady bug *scowl*

Hmmm...odd. I must be playing a different trail than you folks are describing. The only place the Professor gets killed (I've played through twice now) is when the Kikkimore Queen does him in when I'm at the HQ. I'm wondering what you get when you gut the Kikkimore Queen because she's just eaten him earlier in the cut scene.
The fight with Professor was kind of easy,I just casted axii sign on one of the kikimores and waited until he/she took care of him ( I'm playing on hard ) As far as I remembrer after killing the queen you can pull out some Professor's letters and very useful organs.Won't tell more
