I'm trying to beat the game for the 3rd time and now I've got stuck with the stupid kikimores... Like I've said, I've alredy done it twice, but now I keep dying after Aarding the pillars in the last cave =( I mean, I run to the blind corridor in the back of the room, cast the Aard, the room starts shaking (Geralt says that he must run away, so I DO run to the very end of the corridor), then Geralt says "now I need to skin the kikimore" and suddenly he drops dead =(( I tried standing like in the middle of the corridor, in the end, near the box etc. but it's always the same =( I'm becoming pretty frustrated with this. Is there any trick that I forgot since last time, or is it a bug?

It sounds like you die after the room has collapsed before skinning the creature, if that's so it might be a bug . Solution: Maybe this bug won't happen on someone else's game. Upload your last save game on a file sharing site and share it here or in a new thread. Someone will try and see if the bug remains. If no bug, s/he'll save and give it to you after passing that point.

If Geralt says "now I need to skin the kikimore". it means the queen is already dead, ergo, the cave has already collapsed, ergo, nothing can kill you anymore. If you still die, it's a bug. You should try patching it. Or as e-ahmet suggested, share your save game. Though it's better to patch your own copy first and try, because otherwise, you might run into similar problems again later.

Yes, it thought it would be a bug because I die after all the shaking is over and the kikimore is dead. (What a bad luck, I just had to reinstall because of another bug. What's wrong with my game? It had worked fine for several months before =( )

OK, I'll try to do it tomorrow. Do I have to register my game when sharing a save?

Although it probably wouldn`t hurt to register. But no when sharing a save you need to upload it to a file sharing site e.g. megaupload or one similar and then post the link here so someone can download and play to the start of act 4 and then after that they upload it and give the link here so that you can download it and install it back to your saved games

You need to register only if you're looking for a savegame at the savegame market.Otherwise no registration required. Though if you have 1.5 already, it's already registered, isn't it? You cannot install 1.4 without registration...

I don't know. I just bought the Platinum edition, and that's with patch 1.5, I didn't update it myself.

You DO have another option.... attacking it with a sword. I think I remember seeing a vid once where Geralt kills it with a sword. That way there is no falling ceiling.. ;)The simpler way out is to host the savegame. Maybe someone can help you with it. I will give it a shot myself if there are no incompatibilities.

That's OK. The fight is really tough. I myself never killed it that way myself. I tried a few times, and did some damage, but never enough. Trying it is fun though. There's always the share savegame idea.

Meh, another playthrough of Chapter III (the last time it worked fine) and this bug is here again. Well, I guess I'm quitting TW1 now and just waiting for the sequel. I just wanted to say - it was fun, original and everything, but the technical side needs to get better. I really hope TW2 will come out with as few bugs as possible...

Stupid suggestion perhaps, but the roof is not caving in and landing of both of you, and killing you both?
