There is a bug there. This is how to reproduce it:1) Initiate the sequence2) Destroy the first 3 supports3) No not fight any of the kikimores4) When the queen enters the final room destroy the supports while standing under them5) You will not die, and will be able to loot, see the in-engine movie, etc.6) You will NOT be able to exit the area where the rocks and support beams are7) At this point you are stuck and may not advance unless you reload the sequenceNow, if you want to avoid this bug, here is what you do:In the final room, DO NOT stand under the collapsible portion of the celling as you are bringing it down. Instead you should stand where the exit hallway is.I hope this helps.

You can kill the Kikimore Queen in her lair, without knocking down any of the supports. But you must be very patient, you must find the one spot in her lair that she cannot reach you and you must be skilled in the use of the Yrden Sign. Once you have the queen out of the way, you can enjoy the mass-slaughter of all the Kikimore workers and warriors. ;)P.S. Being skilled in the Quen Sign will help you in finding the one spot that the queen cannot reach you.

Well, she can be little rough, but that's nothing a Quen can't handle, my kind of girl.If yuo want to do it the "official way" yuo have to court her like forementioned in the thread, the tip I can give is; if yuo get stuck to her kids the play a scare crow, King and Queen and Axii, Ignis fire wall -abilities generally help.Yuo can ofcource make way whit the Aard, but that is little bit dangerous considering the shaky hut she lives in.Then there is the easy way. Yuo see she is a traditional girl deep inside. I got her lot of these kandies called "Devil's Buff Bombs" and ofcource couple of spiky roses in form of Yrden to finish her, and she was totally on her knees.Didn't test but I suspect that Just Yden whit Crippling sign might do it.I think I did all things correctly, but still didn't get her card, is this a bug? If so CDProject fix or do sumfink! I want her card!Anyway really fun overall, little buggy the official way, but otherwise ok.

you got stuck on the wrong side of the cavein.only one solution, I'm afraid...reload, try again.this time, make sure you go back into the final tunnel farther towards the chest you see there before you aard the support beams.

Meh, seems to be a bug or something, I smack down all the supports, then at the last one (when the whole thing falls down) I break the support, then I get the "Quest update" and then I die...for no reason at all, happend to me 5 times, sucks biiiiiig time. And yes, I was far enough away from the collaption

It's not no reason at all :pAfter casting aard on the last support you have to run further into the cave so that the place doesn't collapse on top of you. It's actually rather easy even if you only aard the last pillar and just make your way through the kikimores before that (see my video if you like, I can post a link if anyone needs it).

Here is what I think is, the best way to kill the Kikkimore Queen.1. Prepare your aard sign and silver sword.2. run into the tunnel and go to where it says "body"3. Knock down the pillar you just ran through (the second one)4. From here, kill off any kikkimore workers that are around. You can take your time. The queen will never come through. But make sure you don't advance further into the tunnel.5. Loot the dead body. There is a yellow moon rune here.6. Run through the rest of the tunnel as quick as possible, turn around, and hit the pillar with the aard sign. Most of the other kikkimore should despawn.7. Run to the other side and hit the whole cave with aard again.8. Wait.I think a lot of people probably miss out on the dead body or spend a lot of time fighting kikkimore workers to get into the cave. This way, you get the loot and waste minimal time on fighting.

I would like to thank you for this post, one of the gratefullest I have ever seen. For me, the KIkimore Queen was literally a game ending bug. :)

ok, no matter how quickly i turn and run after i nuke the last supports, i die. i make it well down the corridor, get the quest message, and die. other than one post above, this is a different problem than what everyone else is describing. is there some trick for getting out of the way quicker?

True, I have the same problem. Funny thing but I mad it once to the next chapter, sat near the bonefire and enjoyed levelling up and the I thought of using the nerve to make a potion. Something went wrong, computer got stuck at that point... so I restart damn brat and try to load aoutsave which... is not there so I look for the last save and it is before the fight with the queen. I have killed her 15 times just like I killed her before and every time I kill her the moment she dies I got message about quest status update and I die. Just like that, sitting at the blocked end of the corridor (yes, it is correct corridor). For no apparent reason I die when that nasty bitch dies. Don't know what to do...

Same problem here! Die after getting the quest complete text. Im as far in the tunnel as I can when the cave collapses. Any ideas?

Ok dudes with the problem of dying after killing kikimore queen, heres what I did;Got the God mode files from Xerxes712 posted here: http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=7965.0Place the files in Data folder, startup, load the autosave where you fall down, then just do an Igni on the queen when she emerges from the ground. So dont run and do the aard stuff, just kill her. Then save the game after looting, exit the game and delete the files again. Does nothing bad to your character.

Ok, as the title implys you're obviously not gonna kill her (in fact she dont even take dmg) If you already know how it's supposed to be done, but dont get the hang of it skip to "solution".Step 1. Run past the queen and into the tunnel, turn around (using F by default) and charge up the Aard sign, making the ceiling fall in. [iI]t make take a few tries. The first time I did this i made the ceiling bury me ^^[/I]Step 2. Continnue running down the hallway. Hold ALT to see the corpse to your left. Loot it for a rune, and then use Aard sign again on the supports you just passed.Step 3. Further down the hallway there will be an opening with a few kikkimores *Do not* engage them. Make sure to use Aard sign as swiftly as you possibly can to bring down the supports.Final step. Ok, this is where everyone seems to fail. Its the easiest part really. The trick is to really stand away from the support pillar (The one supported by blueish stones) It's hard to describe how far. But start with exaggerating. Thats what I did. Then continnue into the next opening and Stay there. The queen will come rushing at you, and the ceiling will rush down on her ^^Hoped this helped. Solution:The trick is to really stand away from the final support pillar when using Aard. And charge it FULLY.

you can also simply cheat anddrop the pillars BEFORE you get to the bend, this is practically the best wya to do it on hard mode, as the sheer number of kikkimmores almost ensures the queen will get you from behind. The queen will smash the roadblocks and THEN come after you, making it easier to run around her and down the tunnel after the others have cleared out. then just hit the last pillar on your way out and keep running.

And you have to remember not to bury yourself alive when doing so!!! ;) Twice I put Geralt close to some wall and he survived it when the final chamber collapsed killing the Queen, but then he couldn’t move to the exit at all!!! He simply couldn’t enter the corridor as timber was blocking the path. Tried Aard sign but it did not work on the blockage. Maybe it was a bug, I don’t know, but I found it frustrating to say the least… In other places Geralt could move easily even through stones and planks…

That's why you do it ahead of time, the queen will plow over the blockage for you... just remember to back away before she starts chasing you again.

I dont know where you're getting at? You just wrote what i already had written? And when i write thats it's important to stand away from the support, i dont mean you are to stand against a wall.. You can stand more than halfway from the pillar beteen it, and the corridor.

Well, maybe I wasn’t too clear in what I wrote. ???I agree with you absolutely, it was not an attack on what you wrote or repeating it! :) It’s just that your instructions reminded me of what I did in that place. Namely - I followed the steps you specified, and in exactly the same way, but with one exception: in running away from the final pillar I moved Geralt close to some wall or, second time, up some ledge. And then I could not leave that chamber at all!!! The queen was dead but Geralt buried in planks though still alive, and with no real harm done to him!!!. He just couldn't move to the final corridor! And I spent a lot of time trying to overcome it, which proved to be impossible. Finally I understood that you need to run away from the pillar to the exit corridor, not somewhere else. (It was on my fifth or sixth attempt to defeat the queen.) And I simply wanted to warn people not to repeat my mistake!Actually you did write about it, I notice it now. By “next opening” you probably understood the corridor. But I was looking for “any opening”, “any empty space”, the further from the queen the better. Possibly lost the sense of direction... And ended up as I described above, which was simply my mistake!Your guide to defeat the queen is fine and helpful and I didn’t find it frustrating. :) Frustrating was the fact that I was stuck after killing the queen. Stuck a few steps from the corridor, but with no possibility to enter it. I wonder whether it was a bug in the game, or just my luck… Hope my post is clearer now.Regards,UltimaThule

This was the most frustrating segment of this game for me-but satisfying when you do make it through. I finally made it through last night, after many attempts. My approach was this:1. Prepare the Aard sign. Do not weild your silver sword...you'll waste precious time by unecessarily fighting Kikimores.2. Use Aard on first support structure.3. Run just past second support structure. Use Aard on it as well.4. Continue this approach until you've made it through the entire corridor. Notice that the Kikimores will despawn after each support structure is taken out. You don't even have to fight them. 5. Once you reach the large open area, use Aard on the closest post with rocks you can find...and then run, run, run as fast as you can into the corridor just to your right. The crucial thing about this segment is timing. You must hit each support structure and run swiftly to the next. Every time I tried to stop and fight Kikimores, I died. Just keep your sword tucked away. You can make it through this section with the Aard sign and running.
