Thank you for your help! I FINALLY managed to get past this - I found that I could jump if I randomly bashed the WASD keys! The trouble was that I'd used nearly all of my potions during the Salamander fights (just kept killing them - didn't realise they were respawning!) so my toxicity level was too high to take any more during this part (no Honey, either). One thing from this thread that I found REALLY useful was the part about collapsing the middle supports in the corridor (just before the chest). Once I'd collapsed that support I could wait in that part of the tunnel until my health had completely returned and loot the chest and generally take my time. The queen can't break through and none of the workers or warriors from the large room come to investigate you either. Once I'd fully recovered I made my dash into the main room, button-bashed my jumps over the monsters then took out the main support.WOO!Most annoying part of the game so far... please tell me it's the only part like this!:)

*signed* ;D I just finished this part the 2nd time and it took me several tries to succeed. Basically you just need the right timing to use Aard and esacpe through the kikimore minions. But how you manage that in practice is individual. I didn't use Aard in the corridor until I reached the hall then I turned right side into the next tunnel. Because every time I stopped running to use Aard I was immediately crowded by the small kikis. The jump tactic only works when Geralt is in fighting mode, means wearing his sword and performs "jump over opponent" which is impossible when there's no free space anymore to click (I use mouse) behind an opponent but only kikimores, kikimores... so I raced through the corridor, reached the hall which wasn't so stuffed with kikis yet so Geralt was able to jump over the first beasts, used Aard behind me, raced into the final tunnel, used Aard again against the few nasty followers and finally the entire cave collapsed :)It's useless and you waste too much valueable time if you start fighting with the kikimores.

No other encounter in the game pushes my adrenaline level that much like this final part of Act III ;D Entire Epilogue is breathtaking too because Geralt is on the way to face his "arch enemy" and all those mutants... etc. but much more relaxing than getting rid of Kiki Queen.

No don't fight the Kikimore queen, just run into the kikimore workers, and makesure you have kikimore workers behind you so the kikimore queen can't get to you. Then fight your way into the cave with ceiling/support, use Aard on the pillars and cause the ceiling to collapse on the kikimore queen to kill her.

Guys, It's my first post here, so hello to everyone. Now I have a question - I still can't figure it out how to kill her. When I fall into the room, I run towards the tunnel and Geralt makes the comment about supporters. When I try to break the first supporter I tend to die cause it falls on me. If I run further towards the other supporters I am swarmed bu the kittle ones. My question is - shall I break all supporters from the start (entry to the tunnel) or just a few of them deeper inside. Also, once I killed all the small ones and ran into the second room (only breaking one or two supporters in the corridor. I tried to break any of the single poles in that large room, but Aard did not work on them. Then finally she came into the room and killed me...I read all the previous posts, but I am still puzzled about how I should complete the darn part. I'd be happy if any of you could give me a detailed explanation :)many thanks!

I think there is no one-and-only-solution in this case ;) but a lot of useful tips. You have to try which one works best for you. I was never successful with blasting pillars in the tunnel after I passed them. Though it makes sense to stop the Kiki queen for a while and give you a time advantage. When I used that tactic I always buried Geralt as well under the ruble >..

My first post....I thinkMy solution (after dieing loads) is to run into the tunnel and take down the first set of supports. The queen will not follow you until you enter the large cave so you can clear the tunnel at your leisure and do a savegame.Once you run into the large cave the two large bugs will respawn soignore them and run to the tunnel on the right, turn and aard the supports and continue runningdown the tunnel.Only problem I found was no matter how far down the tunnel I ran I keptdieing after 4 or 5 seconds even though I was well clear. My desperate solution was a quicksaveand reload and then I was fine...............Be really interested if this happens to anyone else.Hope this helps.

Ah what a wonderful ending to a positively exciting run for Geralts life!!You are right now i can relax a little and enjoy a leisure type existance for a while .....without giving anything away that is......Chapter 4, is turning out to be just great.Thank you game designers for an excellent game and story line with many surprises and twists.....most entertaining. However many times i wish my storage was larger to carry all those bottles of goodies i keep making!!

I don't know exactly how i did it, but the queen finally died. After turning to right through the first passage i encountered a bunch of kikimore's. So i use aard repeatedly on them and slew a few ones. I also used blizzard and tawny owl. then go through the end of the tunnel and for somehow i got an update that the queen was dead. Took the loot of the body and took after that the loot of the chest and exit the cave.

I found the blizzard potion made this a lot easier. Drink it just after the cut scene where the Kikimore Queen reappears. You now have time to run into the hall without worrying about collapsing the supports behind you. There's more time to dodge the other Kikimores and more time to avoid the falling ceiling when you collapse the main support.

Yes, the Blizzard potion makes killing the Queen much easier! Thanks for reminding me to use this potion.

Quess you got to fight through the first wave of the workers, but then in the big room, just zig-zag through the angry mob and hit one of the supporters with Aard, then run into the cave with treasure that has Swallow in it. Was pretty easy for me.

Hmmm but you can kill it by 'normal' methods. You need a powerful Yrden and a potion of Pertri's Philter. After the last cutscene just run back into the room where the prof died and take cover behind that rock. You are out of reach of the queen and just have to keep Yrdening it. ;D

wooot  this is smart 8) What do you mean with "strong Yrden" ? How many talents did you use?

Had Yrden maxed out up to level 4, most of the intelligence talents that enhance signs up to level 4 and a few stamina talents that help with endurance (but you don't really need these). And the potion of course. You could probably do it with quite a bit less as long as you can do some damage. The queen can't touch you so it's only a matter of how long it takes.

Seems that Yrden is an underestimated powerful sign. I used all my left bronze talents on it and test it versus Act IV monsters. At that state it's more fun, they take harm but survive it ;D

I can't imagine anyone having trouble with this. Geralt TELLS you what to do. Cast Aard and run! It took me all of one try. ;)

Telling things and practising it are tow different cases ;D On my 1st gameplay it took me about 30 mins and the 2nd about the same time. But... after you made it's an extra ordinary feeling of success. The first time I really missed a _real_ jump feature in the game.Geralt needs a jump for joy talent ^__^
