[Act IV] Letter to Lover

Hi, just a quick question for all others out there ;D When Dandelion gives Geralt the letter to your lover (Triss or Shani), does it matter what you put in it? Does what you choose to put in it affect the story later on? I was just wondering, and I couldn't find if anyone's already answered this on the forums. I sent Alvin to Triss, and when Geralt wrote to her I chose 'Dearest' rather than 'Friend', and elected to inform Foltest rather than describe the area. Has anyone done differently? And noticed anything in later chapters? :)Thanks

As far as I know it doesn't matter, as in Act V you make the actual choice.

I believe it has some *very minor* impact in the conversation Geralt has with the King later (the part about his personal life) ... but it's miniscule :)

I thought you always get all the same three options with the king about that?

If there is an impact it is certainly so minor its almost not worth mentioning. It is really up to your personal choice as to whether you write a soppy lovey-dovey love letter to Triss / Shani, or actually put the time and paper to good use and give some important information.

I do have all the variations on the wiki :) -- of the letters, that is! for those who are just curious about the wording ... it's true that there is zero impact on the game play
