[Act V] Trapped like a rat in a trap!!

It seems to me that once you are dumped into the town of Old Vizima you are positively trapped. No where can you get out or use your "great" enhanced aard skill to knock down barriers. You literally have no choices open to you in this part of the game....it makes me feel helpless and at the mercy of some poor plan here. I suppose if I had decided to side with the order and kill the elves and dwarves I would have allies at least. But then i would not be a true witcher....protect humans and ONLY kill monsters.Dilemma plus !!Just venting......LOL! Frustrated because i love the game and want to go on......

on the right of the Hospital, you will find the way to defend your own part. Just take a little peek around.....

I just spent over 15 mins fighting and fighting.........they keep spawning over and over even when it seems they are all done..................oh my I will look to the right of the hospital.....the well is useless.....

As soon as you successfully guided the refugees into the swamp all fights are finished. When you return to Old Vizima there are lots of wounded in the streets.

Yup, fighting all those mobs is totally unnecessary. Just do your quests and, in time, the mobs will be gone.

wanted to thank you for your help however ...the quest from Shani did not materialize instead I had to fight the squirrels and right after, the Rose Guard....mmm finally I caved and went back to chapter 4 and made a different choice.....now i am happily in the cemetary...sloshing around and trying to get taller so that I can see over top those freaking reeds! LOL......I had plenty of quests now that I have chosen to side with the Guards and it seemed to make more sense...but the neutral decision tract needs some more work I am thinking...designer wise that is.....I am sorry because I wanted the witcher to be more true to his nature..that of being neutral and protector.
