[Act V] Zoltan and his refugees

I'm totally stuck here because this quest doesn't make any sense at all! In the game guide it says "After entering the Old Vizima you meet Zoltan". False! He appears on the Dike, not in Old Vizima. I talk to him and agrees to help him. The map marker points to the gate to Old Vizima, but if I enter there it will disrupt the quest, starting cutscenes and puts me in the castle. The hospital is in the other direction at the dike through a gate I can't enter. :wall:

Don't worry -- you'll meet Zoltan again when you exit the castle.

As Corylea said :) Zoltan rocks up again after you exit the castle :) Also...

Are you thinking of St Lebioda's hospital in the Temple Quarter? The quest log refers to a different hospital, a makeshift, temporary hospital setup in Old Vizima which you haven't been to yet. Don't worry, you are on the right path :) Leave the Dike through the gates, bask in the opulence of the castle and have a chat to some of its inhabitants, and the rest will take care of itself :)

Don't rush through this beautiful castle and take every opportunity to talk to all persons there before you leave this peaceful place to save the refugees. And... you can't return to the castle during the missions if you forgot to ask something.

Yes, I found out and I talked to everyone before leaving the castle. ;D It's my first time through so I don't know what I might miss, if I will be able to continue some things later or what. I wish there were more clues what to do inside the game, instead of having to cheat with the game guide. :p

If you use all opportunities to talk to poeple you can't do anything wrong. There is no harm in gathering information I hope you received a lot of journal entries, resp quest updates

You really don't need to cheat in this game. I never looked at any info on a chapter until I finish that ACT unless I'm absolutely stuck. Usually, with a little patience and a lot of conversing with NPC's, a solution will present itself. And, trust me, it is not possible to get every detail of this game on one playthrough. Based on decisions made, the game may not give you certain options.
