omg, Bud Spencer and Terence Hill and dubbed in german! Saw an interview with Spencer (alias Carlo Pedersoli) recently on italian tv, the guy is now 86 years old and used to be a swimming champion before his movie career, while smoking two packs a day. Hill is still omnipresent on italian tv as the parish priest - cum - detective Don Matteo.
The actress who would have made a perfect Yennefer (in my eyes) fifteen years ago

is now perfect for the role of Calanthe of Cintra

if they ever casted a movie...Liv Tyler IS Yennifer. She's not the same baby-face sweety we all knew. She's matured into such a lovely woman. I mean, face it, she was lovely as hell before, but like Kate Beckinsale, the older she gets, the more beautiful. Look at the shape and posture of her mouth, the way her head is angled...there's nothing about that, that isn't Yen.

As a reminder. In books Ciri is 15 years old(in the last book), Triss(~50yo) and Yennefer(~100yo) look like in 25-30. Geralt(~100yo) looks ~45-50. Dandelion is 40 but he looks 30.

I feel like Yennifer would need to be played by someone who can carry themselves as a more prudish, stuck-up type and pull it off...like the young Angelina Jolie.

However...Emma Stone = Triss Merrigold

Annd.....I could see Olivia Wilde play any role anyone can give....because I'm partial to those damn Wilde eyes.

Some great suggestions here! I think it would be hard to hear another actor voice Geralt, his voice is the most recognisable part of his character IMO. I would love a feature length movie made with the CGI from the cinematic trailers. That would be amazing but i am unsure whether it would be too big a job.

my pick of the bunch for real life actors that fit the characters

Geralt
Viggo Mortensen - killed it as Aragorn, has the mature, rugged look. should be able to produce a credible "Geralt" voice, experience in epic fantasy films
Michael Fassbender - has the physique, pulls off the long hair look eg 300, very talented actor

Yennefer
Kate Beckinsale- drop dead gorgeous, beautiful, stunning (she really revs my engine!) very experienced actress who has worked on action/fantasy movies before
Eva Green- Not on Beckinsale's level of beauty (still very attractive) but I think she is better suited to portray Yens dominating, confident personality
Liv Tyler- one I hadn't thought of until reading this thread but a very good suggestion, certainly has the look

Johnny Depp- Absolutely love this suggestion, will nail both the look and personality

Ciri (Older)
Agnyss Deyn- model/actress who is relatively new to acting but her hair and eyes just scream ciri.
