M8, games had bugs at all times, and this one is far from the worst scenario, I really do not see how this bug ruined 85 hours for you, 14 level reached Novigrad is not bad at all. See the world trough your window while they are working on it. Or if you are so eager to play now, just reinstall the game with lower patch.
What I mean to say is that I have very limited time to play. This is my holiday and when i have the time to play it. After that, no time. Granted I should not have risked believing that the game would be released finished and not as a beta version.
Installing lower patch does not fix bug. It has been reported that XP bug is present even on 1.02
And this is pretty much a worse scenario for a bugged game: game breaking bugs that can appear at any time and halt progress - that you only find you have many hours into them.
True I have other stuff I can do, but I am entitled to be disappointed that a product I paid in full for in 2014 is now not fit for purpose on delivery in 2015.
Still I cant help feeling sore - if you bought any other kind of product then would you be so ambivalent about it if it was faulty? - buy a book to find it was missing 3 chapters in the middle only to be told by the publisher that they were aware that it was missing those chapters and are working hard to get them to you as soon as possible? Or if you went out for a meal only to find a chunk of it missing and be told by the restaurant that they were ware the ingredients were missing and the rest of the food was 'right around the corner' only to wait hours and never have it turn up. It is not life threatening by any means, but still frustrating and unacceptable service to the customer.
As I said in an earlier post, devs these days abuse the fact that patches can be delivered online to release faulty unfinished games to the public. Prior to that games had to be finished when shipped.
