Hi pc:

12900K with NZXT KRAKEN X73 ingame 60-70C

2x16GB DDR4 KINGSTON DDR4 3600MHZ in GEAR 1

RTX 3090 Ti Gigabyte Gaming 63C in game

Aorus Z690 Elite DDR4 bios F5

SSD 1 TB NVM PCIE

I have Windows 11 installed the newest version.22H2. Newest nvidia drivers. I lost fps after update 1.6 in this game. Before 1.6 i had 65-90fps. With 1440P.RT PSYCHO,DLSS QUALITY,rest ultra.
Now i have 55fps-80fps on the same settings. Also gpu load is less. No 98% but 93%.
Must go to dlss balanced and rt ultra to more fps. Why it happened?

I measured a slight drop in the benchmark, but still all good. It is sort of 1% or so.
Windows 10 here, by the way.

Ah yes, one peculiar thing. At least in some runs that I looked at, it seemed like there was no benefit to having RTX maxed or zeroed out if the DLSS was on. Something scre**d with DLSS implementation this time around?

At 1.52, the GPU was able to use up to 470+ watts, to no readable framerate gain vs. 350+ watts cap. No thermal throttling, ofc, no CPU bottleneck (was an all-core 5.2 GHz i9-10900K).

Relevant components: Intel Core i7-12700K, TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4, G.Skill F4-4000C15Q-32GTZR @ 4000 MHz CL15, Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 OC Edition

Depends alot on resolution tbh, DLSS under quality at 1080p is pretty pointless pretty much since your just lowering the render resolution so yous cpu becomes a bottleneck. Sooner or later you kinda reach the limit when no matter what you do fps wont increase :)

I was often 480w draw on my 3090 too (same make and model) with watercooling front and back but still it was the same fps as stock pretty much. gained like 2-5 fps on my OC and that power draw. Kinda sad tbh ^^

When i turn off dlss i have 45-50fps. But gpu usage is 98-99%. Its smooth because i am on gsync monitor but still i prefer dlss. Maybe when i buy rtx 4090 i will turn off completely dlss on 1440P.

Hmm seems theres some bottleneck then. Not the entire answer tho since alot of people are reporting lower then 1.52 fps. Im guessing something has changed in some settings... perhaps they increased RTX or something again.
