AI driving for Delamain car

+
With the new updates, NPCs can drive cars much better. Now, the devs can implement the AI driving for Delamain car, which makes sense considering how it is supposed to work according to the lore. This feature would also make many gamers come back to the game. Devs, if you are reading this, please add this feature in the future update.

Well... CDPR Devs no longer work on Cyberpunk 2077 ;)
Has anybody in the industry considered allowing modders to add certain features to a game? The only thing the developers have to do is to test these new features. If it works well, they approve it and then it becomes a part of the official game.

They have and outstanding modders have and will continue to be outright hired by studios. CDPR has a pretty good history of doing that.

But...

What you're suggesting is different and will never happen because it's a drain on resources with no return on your investment. CDPR is a for-profit company, it's not a charity. Testing a new feature correctly isn't just a "oh, it works, throw it in!" process. It involves a lot of people working for a long time. Even something as seemingly "basic" as AI driven Delamain and it's not something that will make you sell copies in large enough numbers to make it worth it.

CDPR is already going above and beyond by supporting modding, possibly much more if there is a REDkit coming for CP2077, and all you can hope for is that modders will add what you want but CDPR will never officially review and implement those. Of course, that means that if you're on console, you are shit out of luck. Development and support for the game is over. At best, we have one last patch currently going through QA that will be released.

Well, nothing more to add to what @GrimReaper801, but again I repeat "CDPR devs no longer work on Cyberpunk since more than a month, none".
Which mean that after the "possible" upcoming update (likely currently in QA), the game won't receive any further update, none (maybe except to simply add Redkit support, but that's all). If you want to see something new in the game from now on, you will have to count on modders and, on modders only (and to be on PC^^).

On side note, I don't think adding a self driving AI for Delamain would bring back players to the game, even less help selling more game copies... The only thing which could do that and the main reason why people play CDPR games, it would be adding story content... But it's not gonna happen ;)
