Alchemy BUGS (enhanced recipes)

As soon as i loot an enhanced recipe it replaces the original one, making it impossible to craft the enhanced one if u haven't crafted the original because it requires the original as a material. In that case you lose any chance of making that kind of bomb/potion/oil. Can someone help me resolve this issue? Can i downgrade the recipe in order to craft the old one?

On the other hand I noticed that if I have both standard and enhanced formulas in the inventory. when I make the standard Potion/bomb/poison etc.. the enhanced version disappears.

For insance I am at an herborist, I purchase the ingredients I need for the basic item, i switch to the alchemy menu, i create it, then I can clearly see the enhanced version in the list of formulas. If I have all the ingredients I can create it, if not, exiting the menus or switching back to the herborist shop menu, will make it disappear!

This happens all the time, it is not a transitory bug.

Are you sure you had the basic recipe?

(...and a video as a proof is always nice, but not neccessary)

In my experience I had both "uncrafted" recipes in the list:
- Went to the herbalist,
- purchased the missing ingredients
- Both recipes "green". (enhanced missing the basic bomb only)
- Craft the basic bomb.
- the enhanced becomes red since used one of the same ingredients of the basic bomb.
- Push RB to switch back to the shop.
- purchased the missing ingredient.
- push RB to switch back to the alchemy list.
- Basic bomb is indicated as "already created" and enhanced version is gone!

No way to get it back even with saving and reloading.

If I try the same procedure again it happens all the times.

The only thing that works appearently is to have enough ingredients for both and create them in the same instance, without switching menu screen back to the shop.

I have a savegame just before entering the herbalist if needed. so if somebody wants to try this it is very easy.

yep, upload it somewhere. next time dont ask, just discribe it as you did now (step by step) and upload a savegame if possible...this might or might not increase a chance of faster solution...but you definitely did maximum for a solution from your side. good job

Tried with 1.05. it seems fine now. no more disappearance.

Any word on a fix for this coming? It has been documented many times on the net but i haven't found any solution besides dropping it and re crafting them all at the same time.

I JUST ran into this and i am on 1.05 so it didn't fix for all. I read that there is a filter option for PC but consoles don't have that ability. I have a save from a WHILE ago still that was before i lost them at the herbalist on skelige but man, i would be redoing a bunch of missions. AND, it still doesn't fix the problem.

CDPR particularly Marcin posted on tweeter that 1.07 will also fix these alchemy and recipe issues. Inventory management will also be patched and will have separate tabs for these items.
