I usually play on normal mode but I'll play TW2 in hard mode to make it last longer. Will the insane difficulty be even harder than the hard mode or will it be as hard as the hard mode but with the savegame thing ?

Uh....we don't know yet. But it is possible that Insane will be harder than hard. In Diablo 2, "Inferno mode" was like this.I don't think Insane will be that hard (like in Diablo 2 I mean) but I guess that being not able to reload issue would make thing even more nasty.

The DiD (Dead is Dead) mode is a good mix-up. Some comments here wanted it to be something else (three deaths, mucho other punishment etc) but then it would not differ in the death aspect as seems to be the point.I am not much for more difficulty, I don't want to be attacked every step of the game, no swarms of things having a death wish.I would not mind if the Insane mode brought something else with it as a reward. As DiD concept is very much RPG I would not mind more moves toward that, with options - say sleep, eat, drink; or that enemies run away when they see what a bad-ass witcher Gerald is. I don't understand why the NPC's stay and die, might they just be computer generated :pI am a explorer and don't want to fighting to be the solution to every mission, or getting somewhere always entails killing a dozen monsters or people. BUT even so I will try the Insane mode when I unlock it because it is much more rewarding getting somewhere when you know it really counts!Cheers!

I will start off on hard mode, then Insane when it becomes unlocked.

I'll be starting on medium. Medium is usually difficult enough that I don't feel like I'm coasting through the game, but easy enough as to not be frustrating. I'll probably go to harder difficulties after my first play-through.
