Altars in Harviken

Altars in Harviken

Hi, guys! Did anybody found altars in Harviken? If you climb on them, the sign of the arm will appear and an inscription "The prayers have been heard." I've found 3 of them, but nothing happened. Does anybody know, what it's all about?

In addition to this, i've found a stone on the crossroads, which has the same symbols

yeah i found them too and i also don't know what are these for ( a quest maybe? ) so it would be nice if anyone that knows posts something about it...

And by the way,i noticed that the three of them are placed in the three corners of the island so ithought of searching for aforth one but there isn't one...

there is an arch in the cage on west of Harviken with 2 trolls. It seems to me, that there should be some kind of a portal

There is a fourth. Though it has been re-purposed a bit (Read the "orders").

They are for a "person in distress quest" where Hiemdal is described (sounds quite a bit like Geralt tbh).

I don't think I've seen a quest that would make use of the altars. There's a quest with a guy bothered by some bandith near one of these altars, but I don't recall any quest which would involve actual interaction with these altars. At this point I think it was meant for a quest that didn't get implemented. 'd appriciate any info on this.

I'm not sure if this is a coincidence, on my second playthrough in NG+ 1.08, it was a rainy day, and after praying at one these altars, the weather suddenly cleared

They change the weather. And you can see the person in distress guy visit each one. Beyond that idk.
