Amd display driver issues

Hello,
I just reinstalled the witcher2 EE (non steam) version but cant play the game because after several minutes, the graphic pilot amdkmdap isnt answering anymore. Causing the game to freeze for several seconds because display is recovered.
I am on W7 64-bits AMD drivers are 14.501.1003.0. , Graphic card is an XFX HD 7950.
I also tried to downgrade the drivers but drivers continue to crash non stop^even after this.
Ubersampling is disabled, tried to change the texture memory size to different values, texture downscaling : none, vsync on or off,
None of that resolved it
Any idea of what i could do ? That only happens in W2 EE, all other games work smoothly

Thanks for your patience

Does AMD give the option to clean install the drivers . If so then try that .
Also is your card overclocked and that would include factory overclocks as well .

Make sure you aren't seeing interference from antivirals or antispyware. In fact, to be safe, use msconfig to disable everything that isn't necessary on start in the startup window.

http://netsquirrel.com/msconfig/msconfig_win7.html

Make sure things like MSI Afterburner aren't running. There was an issue with an older version.

set Witcher 2 to minimum values for everything and work up.

If you're going to change drivers, I run this:

http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Then I install the new drivers.

Once your drivers are in - start with the latest, roll back if that fails.

It's also possible,as Tommy says, you'd have to declock the processor or memory.
