AMD FSR 3 implementation is BAD

Pretty disappointed with this update. I understand it's an Nvidia sponsored game but good lord why does AMD FSR 3 actually look worse than AMD FSR 2? You could almost mistake for AMD FSR 1! Additionally, we waited forever for this implementation and you really couldn't put AMD FSR 3.1 instead? I don't want to sound ungrateful but even Ancient Gameplays found that this implementation is just straight bad and mods for AMD FSR 3 in CP2077 actually looks better than the official update!

AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation FINALLY arrives to Cyberpunk 2077!! But it sucks...

I forgot to add that with this update it actually removes Full Screen mode and you're stuck with Window and Borderless Window. Not good when you have a native 4K display with a GPU that can't run this game at 4K 60fps natively. Where's the Quality Assurance and Testers? Did they all get laid off before the patch went into development? Removal of Full Screen mode, FSR 3 instead of 3.1, shimmering galore and so much more.

I thought of checking out FSR3 update after the update news, but it doesn't look like it's worth it after seeing so many negative feedbacks. Even if this game is more NVIDIA friendly, they shouldn't discriminate AMD users and do it right. PC or PS or XBOX, AMD or NVIDIA users, should all get fair treatment because we all purchased this game and expect similar amount of support. It's disappointing, with how CDPR hasn't even fixed major bugs post-2.0/Phantom Liberty yet, and putting out poor FSR3 update. I still love and support this game very much, and I've been supporting CDPR ever since 'bad times' but we're not getting support we need from them anymore, for nearly a year now. I thought they had learned their lessons not to disappoint customers...

P.S. FSR 2.1 was also quite bad with butchering the image quality, along with flickering and shimmering. Lowering graphic options seemed to work much better

Well it is still worth it because the XESS upscaling went from v.1.2 up to v.1.3 and the XESS upscaling is superior in Cyberpunk 2077 and the Witcher. implementations of FSR. V1.3 XESS has much less shimmer. You then run the game with that and AFMF and you get a decent experience. But hold your horses. I tried the AMD preview driver up until a few days ago (AMD ended the preview) for AFMF 2. Assuming AMD release that in the next driver build you will get an even better experience than the half arsed effort CDprojekt Rekt offered us in this update.

CDprojekt Rekt make such beautiful games but not sure I'm getting on board with their next efforts unless they offer decent experience for all.

Indeed, and changed my graphics settings back to FSR 2.1.
I tried the 3.0 and the game became spotty and looked like crap.
It even screwed with the Ray Tracing.

Does FSR 2.1 work alright for you? I've noticed how it makes textures quite blurry, especially characters' hair and such. And it didn't help me much when it was needed the most, when FPS would majorly drop inside of the stadium in Dogtown, for instance. Had to turn it off :( Still sucks that 3.0 doesn't improve FSR at all and makes it even worse.

Yea, I had no choice. The moment I tried the 3.0 the graphics looked like crap.
I was also using the path tracing, and water reflections looked really flat. Once I switched back
everything looked normal again. I'm using an RX amd 6750, buying the 7600 XT next week I want
the more video memory, want to see what the game looks like with 16 gigs.

I would highly recommend to try the DLSS Enabler Mod, for both AMD and Nvidia Users. It's amazing, Full Psycho Raytracing on my old 3060ti with 80-100 FPS is something I never thought possible.

Looks like you can install the AMD preview drivers again:
ttps://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/release-notes/RN-RAD-WIN-AFMF2-TECH-Preview.html

Step 1 -Install the above AMD driver then activate AMFM2
Step 2-set CP2077 to XESS 1.3
Step 3-Crack open a Broseph and enjoy better quality extra frames chooms.

Damn, i've waited for this implementation for long time and this is it.... Is implementation of FSR 3.1 that hard when you already have FSR3 in game?
