Announcing the winners of the Face in the Game Competition

Back in September we launched the Face in the Game competition giving fans a chance to appear in one of our future titles. Participants had to either dress up as their favorite character from our games or simply buy The Witcher 2 on Steam in September. We also asked for a short explanation on why that certain person should be picked. Today its time to announce the winners of our contest.
Before we move on to the announcement, we would like to thank everyone who sent us their entry and participated in the competition. The number of submissions exceeded our expectation by far - the same can be said about the quality of sent entries.
Without further ado, lets all have a round of applause for the winners of the Face in the Game Competition:
Alexander as Geralt

We think that this picture is pretty self-explanatory, great attention to detail and amount of work dedicated into putting this costume together have winner written all over it.
Barbara who bought The Witcher 2 on Steam, included an explanation that really touched us and we knew almost immediately that she would be the one deserving the spot as a character in one of our future productions.
Weve already contacted the winners and you can expect some work-in-progress materials as soon as they become available. Congratulations!

I'm confused, will their faces be in the next witcher title, or will they be featured in Cyberpunk 2077 ?

Probably the one which comes out first (most possibly The Witcher 3).

Alexander's costume is great
but there's no way his face could match a warrior's
every face has meanings of its own, for example the face of an army commander and the face of a special force unit
these two vary from each other dramatically
there are more than 10 factors in a face that determine the class or type of the character, and more than 50 that show the character's personality

Ah yes, of course you talk about different factors determing a face and then you go generalizing it into 1 or 2 factors.

Am I the only one seeing a contradiction here?

"This is not the face of a warrior! There is 1 face for every class! there are dozens of types!"

The lived experiences are those that give traits to a face, not a costume. It is logical to think that, as a teenager, Geralt wearing light leather armor. Moreover, Geralt is not a warrior but a witcher.
Finally, without knowing the Barbara's details, the truth is that creating that costume, blacksmithing unused items, is a sign of great imagination and laboriousness.

Award deserved 100%

Why would you want to detract from his win by posting this? Why be pointlessly mean to a fellow witcher fan who has done a great job on his costume?

-1 for you.

Dear teh_dude

I didn't say there's one face for each class !
I said each class face has same factors that these faces can then be categorized in a single type, NOT A SINGLE ONE !
