It HAS to be an engine issue, they were talking up the AI as late as this June. There's no other explanation, other than blatant lying of course.

I agree, but I still adore this game, I'm on PS4 and it has been an experience to say the least, can't wait for these upcoming patches because they are needed big time, also they really need to add the feature to be able to pick up your knife after it is thrown, please add this feature I feel like it should be a thing but just another bug maybe

i honestly thougth there would be something like AC odysey and even better shodow of war with bounty hunters getting on your case if you pissed the gangs and corpos, but nothing,
also want to know what happened to the statement that we could ignore the entire main story and finish the game. And then the ending, i alredy checked all ending with my homies, ok we didnt saved the goddamn world but even in the most positive ending there is no confirmation if V lives or dies, its frustarting, we did all that mainly to V survival and is allvery ambiguous

That's why a few months of workings from home should not have led to this disaster. The base systems should have been ready years ago, long before covid.

What is the relevance of your point? The game that they sold is not the game that was marketed.

Is there a thread with a complete list of cut content? Just for fun...

No, it absolutely did NOT. Not to mention CDPR has said hundreds, if not thousands, of times over the years, that the game is an RPG that will rival The Witcher 3 (which unlike Cyberpunk, IS referred to as an RPG on the website) in all ways. Cyberpunk was ALWAYS, from the very beginning going to be an RPG. It's based on pen and paper RPG books, ffs. lol

It was always referred to as "Action adventure story" in the store pages, and always had RPG tag. Nothing has changed in the store pages between now and 2 years ago.

It's almost like mismanagment and hyping up a game doesn't pay off.

The game was marketed as an RPG, though. Even in interviews, they called it an RPG. Four months ago, in an article, they called it an RPG.

Guys, I know it fuckin sucks, but there is only a few things you can do.

-Either enjoy the game as it is, or refund it (if you can)
-Stop playing and wait for it to get patched.

Excellent advice!

I'll just go and play Fallen Order on my PC through the Game Pass/EA Play partnership.

Oh wait.... minutes before the service was due to go live, M$ announced it was being pushed back to next year

Last month I was cursing all the good stuff dropping together in the 2nd week of Dec, now it's all turned to shiz, and we're stuck in T3 lockdown with nothing to play

I know I know, 1st World Problems

And? Nothing has changed. They still call it an RPG. It is still an RPG.

ON TOPIC:
I think they will put that in once they smooth out the bugs and sort what is currently in the game. I can't wait.

At this point the amount of cut features and story content is just too much, the game was butchered in the past couple of years. I hope they'll further develop it and won't just pull the plug and move on.

Just because it has a skill tree and perks, does not mean it is an RPG.

Sorry mate but it was always touted as "First and foremost, an RPG"

That is a direct quote.
