Another Witcher 2 save import thread

Hello everyone!

I am terribly sorry to throw up yet another Witcher 2 save import question thread, but I just cannot seem to find the answers I'm looking for. Believe me, I have done enough searching to make Geralt's mission in The Witcher 3 seem like a simple fetch quest. I am about to start the game up for the first time, but I am still a little undecided on whether or not I want to import a save or simulate my decisions. I have a save that has been at my side from The Witcher 1 all the way to the Witcher 2. However, if there aren't any additional things added for importing a past save, I will probably opt to simulate the choices. This is mostly due to not being able to identify which of my 800 saves is the final autosave after completing The Witcher 2's epilogue (no, it isn't the final one, there were a couple playthroughs and restarts).

So, without spoiling anything, is it worthwhile to import a save game from The Witcher 2? I mean, beyond a certain tattoo that I never received anyway. If so, is there any easy way to sift through all of those saves to find the right one?

Thanks!

Yes its worth it to import a save, It does add the Tattoo you get in TW2 , plus adds additional lore/information about past events in TW1/TW2 and you get to meet some characters you saved in TW1/TW2, Not gonna say more so I wont spoil it.

Ah great, thanks! Now, I don't suppose there is a better way to go through my saves than checking every screenshot associated with the save/loading the save in The Witcher 2?

I'm glad to hear this as I have been asking for ages if more is imported if you have a W2 save (and my W2 save is based on my W1 save) than just what is asked in the interview scene.
