Any views on the cross bow and skills?

Hi folks,

I'm just level 9 and I invested in fast attacks, Quen, Axii and Crossbow.

I thought Xbow would give a little variety to the fights. And with the slo-mo might have been a bit like Shadow of Mordor.

But it doesn't seem to do very much except pull mobs.

I crafted a slightly better Xbow and bolts but it's still a bit lame.

Any one having fun with it? Or should I stop putting skills in?

I enjoy using it and you can "one hit" some drowners underwater with improved bolts etc
its great for shield bearers if youre feeling nasty! once you target them they raise their shields as if expecting a sword attack...exposing their groins!! a handy target indeed!! LOL
exploding bolts will also set off barrels for monster mobs
finally I find it great to use the xbow for actual hunting! if im low on food I ride off into the forests and hunt some deer from horseback!

It's rather useless outside specific situations, unfortunately. It's really just for attacking aerial or aquatic enemies.
