Any way to know the time played?

Is it showed anywhere? I got the game last Tuesday and played a LOT, wondering how many hours already...

Length of beard? Degree of darkness of the rings around your eyes? :p

Seriously though: Unless you use some kind of third party tool like Steam, XFire or a stopwatch, there is no way to know it (at least not that I know of).

No rings around the eyes (yet) but a "you are getting obsessed with these video games again..." from my wife. Maybe it has something to do with four nights of going to bed at 4am in a single week.... :p

I assume I'm somewhere around 25 to 35 hours. I didn't even fight the Kayran yet... :p

TIL people still use Xfire.

Raptr is where it's at, tbh.

@OP
The game doesn't record your hours afaik, but you can track it through Steam and Raptr, like Aaden said. I quite like those websites because they put things into perspective a little bit, tho it can get scary sometimes :|

That's just how I play games! I go thoroughly: every single side quest completed before going for the Kayran, forgetting to save every 5 minutes and having to go over 20-30 minutes (autosave in the xbox version is close to useless), spoke to everyone that can give you a conversationn, checked every single building, read everything that I could read, repeated some quests once I didn't like the result from my choices.

This is an art long forgotten by the today's younglings. An art called "enjoying the game and not racing towards the end". As an 80's kid playing games on ZX Spectrums, Commodore 64 and MSX's, I learnd that there is no prize for finishing game faster. So I learned to enjoy all the content I paid for. :)

And the Witcher 2 has a LOT of awesome content!
