Anyone able to run this game on 60+ fps on ultra with übersamplign off?

Anyone can run this game at 60+ fps at ultra settings? If so, what is your spec?

Off-topic: May I aks why you upgraded from a GTX560ti to a GTX 570?
I'm asking because I may buy either of those graphicscards in the future, they are the most interesting to me at the moment.

if you want a great card get Gigabyte 560ti Soc it has same power as a 570 and is more reliable! If i could i would go back to my 560Ti

and why i upgraded? it's a really long story, same setup:
GTX 570 in flotsam gave me 67 FPS max
GTX 560Ti in flotsam gave me 64 FPS max

but 560ti is cheaper, more silent, runs cooler and is more reliable and have same power as 570!
Gigabyte 560Ti SO review

what 560ti do you have? i had the epic gigabyte 560ti SO which is 1Ghz ocerclock while reference is only 822 MHz.

and btw i7 is shit if you got hyperthreading on, which most likely will lock a thread or two

use Evga precision tool it will give you an fps count without hitting your fps! fraps does have a hit on your frame-rate!

and check if you got hyperthreading on, if you do i would advise you to disable it.

hmm run any kind of game you have that has a benchmark tool and monitor the frames and your CPU temps, then turn off hyperthrading and do same benchmark again. And just compare the results.

Also if you want a small boost in witcher 2, increase your PCI express bus from 32 to 64 or even 128.

If you have no idea what i am talking about just give me your motherboard model and i'll show what's where!

I have Uber Sampling Off as well as Vsync and am getting 70 FPS ( Higher in Cut scenes ). Everthing else except that Blur stuff ( turned off ) is maxed out In Ultra. See Sig for specs.

Ok i did try setting all the hardware threads - i didn't disable hyper-thrending antivirus screams - from inside windows with task manager -Win7 64 sp1- to run with game .exe ,and also put PCI express bus to 128 from bios -motherboard msi p67-gg65 v2 - also did a bios update v1e latest while on it -
Fraps says 26 min 54 avg and 76 max and evga tool says -constant fps- 54, temp cpu 56 gpu 75 so i believe thats the best my system can do . Np its a pretty decent performans with everything on except umber-sampling. Would you think an solid hard drive would make any difference ?

128 doesn't always mean better than 32, it depends on the motherboard and graphics card. What PCI Latency does is:
-set at 32 [any device using PCI express bus is allowed to use it for 32(lets say ticks) and then it has to be freed for something else] so in theory any device can only use the lane bus for 32 ticks.

now you set it to 128, but what if your card finished it's task in 20 ticks? so now it has to wait idle for the remaining 108 ticks doing nothing, because the bus has been allocated to it.

So my advice is try 32, 64 and 128 and see which gives you best performance.

76 fps with 560ti is just right, and the game is still playable even at 25fps.

hard drive will only improve your loading times, because all the models and object are loaded into RAM and GRAM from your hard drive, once loading is finished the hard drive isn't been used much.
