I preordered from GOG.com and I'm really tempted to buy the collector's edition as well... but sadly I'm trying to pay off eye surgery I had last July and probably should put money towards that instead. So far I've been able to resist - but who knows how long my determination will last! ;)

It was corrective surgery. Before I had poor vision and couldn't see very well without wearing glasses or contacts. Now I have perfect vision without wearing contacts :)

I might re-buy it on Steam, just because i like having all my games in one handy place and I recently heard they're using Steamworks on the Steam release which means cloud saving and achievements, which i like... but I placed a pre-order through gog.com, and I am looking forward to a free game and the digital artbook there. If i get the Steam version as well, it will be at one of their crazy sales some time down the line for 5-10 bucks

Hello everyone!! It's been a while since I posted to the forums here... I will say I am glad to be back! I am planning to buy two copies of The Witcher II though unfortunately not out of the goodness of my Gamers Heart but for selfish reasons alone...... I live in the US and I want an uncensored version of the Witcher II. When the original Witcher game came out I was able to purchase the boxed uncensored CE UK Import version from GoGamer.com. It seems that this time around GoGamer may not be offering the CE UK import version of The Witcher II. So I have already pre-ordered The Witcher II from Good Old Games since I know it will be uncensored and it is the very best digital edition around...........................................................................................AND..........................................................I want the the CE version so badly I will get it from GameStop even though I think $129.99 is quite rediculous for any game...... Oh well my employer gives me $50.00 GameStop gift cards for getting customers to complete surveys about my buisness and I should have enough to take care of most if not all of the exorbetant $129.99... LoL

I have already preordered The Witcher 2 on gog.com and I also plan to buy The Collector's Edition. Same for The Witcher, I purchased the EE instead of downloading it as a free patch.I support CD Projekt for releasing such great *PC* games and for their DRM free philosophy.

I've already pre-ordered it on Steam, but if it's as good as the original I'll probably ask my family in Poland to get me whatever super-duper collector's edition they release, and send it over to the US.I like having a physical copy, and I also want to get a Polish dialogue version of the game.

I preordered on GOG.com because I wanna show those stupid publishers that releasing a game without DRM really works and makes money. Then oc I ordered the UK CE for all the goodies. And knowing me if the game is any good I will probably get it on steam as well once its below 10€, living in europe means steam is NOT an option to get any new game, they are just ridiculously expensive compared to retail.

I think I'll be doing that aswell. If the CE have DRM I will most likely buy the GoG verision aswell so I can play the game DRM free but still have the physical content.
