Not being able to kill the freak ripperdoc is what annoyed me. Woodman got shot in the balls, twice.
That dude was super creepyNot being able to kill the freak ripperdoc is what annoyed me. Woodman got shot in the balls, twice.
Sometimes it's not so clear what's good or evil though, good intentions can yield evil results. Most of the game doesn't let you be evil. it's always taken from you. With very few exceptions.
You can kill him laterNot being able to kill the freak ripperdoc is what annoyed me. Woodman got shot in the balls, twice.
Honestly sick that I couldn't knock this guy out, truss him up, and lock him in a small dark room to die of thirst and starvation. If people want to say "Evelyn got what she deserved," what the he'll do you think Woodman deserved?! For a game about a dark dystopian society, we seem to very much be old school chivalrous.
Not being able to kill the freak ripperdoc is what annoyed me....
It's not a bug,it's a feature!Unless I was imagining things I'm pretty sure I killed him twice so I'm good with that. I killed him in Clouds and poof he returned to die again on the maintenance floor.
not enough nukes to blow up scumbags in night city, take that "dirty biz" side gig for example, was far worse than clouds and woodman. yet you can't do anything besides blasting creepy father and son.
While those two are messed up and I killed them both because they freaked me out with how they enjoy their work they did make one good point. (seriously stay stealthed and listen to them talk, or when the dad talks about file folder names, even the guards are freaked out by those two accoarding to a shard)
They do not record it, they do not kill people. They just edit and if they are killed they will be replaced swiftly because the money is good. No matter what we do, we cannot stop it at best maybe slow them down for a few days. It was real depressing and I had to stop playing for a bit.
I just wished we could get a follow up. Did Regina ever find the killer?
Nothing makes it better. I just found the whole gig depressing. No matter what we do we change nothing. Kill them, Spare them. Those messed up BDs will be made. We do not even find out if the Killer gets caught in the end.How does that make it better?
"Oh if I don't do it, someone else will", and then I go on to edit snuff porn of dead kids.
I rather flip burgers for the rest of my life than ever do something that awful as "job". They deserved to die, especially because they enjoyed what they did.
another philosophical approach can be made, like, night city itself is a prison. and it keeps you in by slowly turning you to itself and actually this is what I concluded in my playthrough. only thing to be done is getting the hell out. or turning yourself into digital image taken from a man who blew up a nuke in middle of city. but he didn't achieve anything other than regrets, as you relive his memories copied to a chip.maybe its just me, but im not sure if woodman deserves to die.
i think he deserves to be in prison for the rest of his life.
but thats not going to happen in night city
severe punishment would be in order, but does he deserve death?
im really not sure about this
At least with them, one might be able to get a little catharsis with how they die. For me, killing the son first and letting the dad scream while I collect the BD before killing him feels good.Nothing makes it better. I just found the whole gig depressing.
