Anyone else have 1+ screen full of non-removal quest items?

It's like 0.1% actual impact to game play, but it does bother my neat and tidy syndrome to see my quest tab keep filling up with items that doesn't get removed after completing quests.

In act 2, level 26 with my furthest play through and so far already have about 1.5 screens of stuff - e.g. 8x6 grid is on my display the 1 screen view, scrolling down another 8x6 grids would be 2 screens, etc.

I've got about 12x6 quest items, lots of them treasure hunt m maps that still stayed in tab despite finishing the associated quest. Seems like general rule is, if you find something before the specific quest step says so, then quest will still complete which is great - but the quest items may forever stay in the tab - like maps, chort lure I made before the quest step was given because it's possible to make that decoction/potion before you even get the quest, tons of keys.

I have this feeling even after I finish 100% of all quests, main story, and explore every marker, my quest tab will still be full of junk.

Yes i have this problem also since the last patch. Quest items just stay in quest stash side even after you already used them.

Yea, I got like a screen full.. I'm actually the other way around in this case, I hoard everything. At first because I didn't really know what it was for and it might come in handy later, later just to have atleast one of everything in my stash. I have been constantly overburdened for most of my experience until I got the 100 max weight. But always micro managing, selling when I got multiple but keeping one to see what I already got. Found this handy for books for example, to see which ones I have already read. Sure it all adds weight but I've been handling the weight since I don't keep over 50 of every item anymore :d Junk items really tricked me for the first hours too, I had no idea the pelts weighed that much and it all added up, I was constantly over weight :d Would've been nice to have a general stash/storage, atleast for storing alchemy and building items, which all add to the weight but might be usable later..

Yep, would be great if most of them disappear. Mostly the witcher contracts and letters after you read them.

this alone has stopped me playing it,i can handle the odd crash and bug,but bloated inventory leaves you wondering constantly if you have forgotten to read something important or used something important...its a bloody stupid oversight that makes me wonder if the game was play tested before release.

inventory bloat ids a game killer....fix it !!!

if someone could post a list of things to keep,it would help a lot,so we know what to ditch.

These are pretty much the only gripes I have about the game. We (or I) need :

> Separate inventory tabs for alchemy / mutagens / armour / weapons etc.
> Much improved item sorting throughout the inventory (mutagens... I'm looking at YOU!)
> Automatic flushing of redundant quest items upon quest completion.
> Automatic marking of books and letters having been read.
> Notification of whether we already own an item (and quantity) when browsing shop inventories.

...probably more, which I'll add as I remember.

Obviously those quest items and even all the alch/craft items management gone out of controle: everything in those tabs is 0.01 pounded (aka iron bar has same weight than monster feathers....)
In those kind of games the "undeletable quest items" is one of the last thing that gets fixed

love it when people say they are role playing the game...ignoring the fact that you are actually carting around a few tonnes of gear that would make the suspension on a tractor groan
