Anyone run W3 on a core i3?

Has anyone had any luck getting W3 to run on a core i3 cpu? I have a 2120 3.30 ghz and a radeon R9 280x, 8gb ram
Don't really want to upgrade for one game so just wondering if anyone has been playing the game with this cpu, thanks!

I can play with an i3 3240 3,40GHz, GTX 960 2GB and 8gb Ram and play suits me around 40-60 fps, which I happen to many people who should optimize the game with patches that have severe falls of frames, if it's any advice give it a chance because I can to move smoothly gta v (sorry for my bad English)

Thanks, I'm thinking about trying it my only concern is buying the game and not being able to play it on a 16:9 res, I've had no problems running any other games with my current set up witcher 2 ran on ultra with constant 30-40 but that's a much older game.

especially in ultra can not play, but I, for example by removing the detail that increases the distance without Hairworks with most things in high graphic works I Playable me, so I have hope that better optimize the game with future patches.

What resolution are you playing at?

1920x1080, I always try to play on that resolution because it is the native of my screen, I'm still trying dsr by nvidia and try to climb it.

The game performs fine on bulky 2 core CPUs, VGA is waaay more important for it.

A i3 should be fine, just make sure to close all the extra stuff and you might want to set the game to a higher priority if runs at a high %

I finished the game using a three-year old Intel Core i3 3220 @ 3.3 GHZ and surprisingly plays very well, with no more crashes after patch 1.04. I'm now on my second playthrough with all new six DLCs installed.

I think the reason why I can play Witcher 3 very well is the fact that I'm using a small monitor at 16:9 -- 1366*768 native resolution. It's a mix of low-high graphical settings with toned-down post-processing with only vsynch, bloom, vignette, chromatic aberrations, light shafts, and sharpening -- low enabled.

Strange the minimum requirement says i5, I always thought the minimum meant you'd have to run the game on low settings at 720p but even below minimum people are running 1080p high.

same processor with gtx750, it's fine; not running numerical effects btw but high details & textures in 1920.

So I bought it and currently playing on high settings with ultra textures with 42 avg fps, so if anyone else has a i3 and was wondering if it can handle the game it certainly can provided you have a good gpu. Kind of disapointed I didn't preorder but the minimum system requirements where way off considering I'm below them playing on high/ultra.
