Appear to have lost a few NPCs?

So there 3 peasants and one merchant at a shrine south of White Orchard, you have to liberate it from a few ghouls as its one of the ? markers.

Anyway, one day, they disappeared and havent returned, ugh i had uses for that merchant .

i have the same problem, this point is marked as uncomplete on map and theres nobody to save arround.
