[Apple M1] Game stops registering clicks/touches

Game version: 10.11 (occurs in previous versions too)
Window mode: both fullscreen and windowed
Chip: Apple M1 Pro
macOS: 13.0 (22A380)

Seemingly randomly the game stops responding to the mouse/touchpad clicks, but it still works as if nothing happened, I can move the mouse around, an in-game timer is ticking, the card gets destroyed by the end of the rope, etc. All I can do is just observe the game without any possibility of interaction. This happens in the menu, in the game, anywhere really.

Judging from the reviews on AppStore I can see this is a widespread error on the M1 Chips. Since GWENT is the only game I play this is very important to me, can I get at least some guidance on what could I do in order to solve this issue?

Some other app, background service, or overlay might distract the pointer.

What happens if you press cmd+tab to select Gwent, Would the pointer refocus?Also, if Gwent is running in Fullscreen mode, try pressing F4 in order to select Gwent.
