Appreciating CDPR for atleast putting out a decent PC port
All that downgrade stuff left a bad taste in the mouth for some.
In light of Arkham Knight PC launch. Lets just take a moment and appreciate the fact that CDPR's PC version was actually a pretty good PC version. It runs well, it looks significantly better than console versions, and they've been patching it quite a bit.
For those who don't know, Arkham Knight PC port was most likely outsourced. It came with a 30 FPS LOCK. Yes, that's right...(can go around that through ini edits). It supposedly runs like crap on tons of high end configs.
Texture quality only goes up to normal, which is apparently worse than PS4 at times. Ambient Occlusion is basically completely missing from the PC version. Some rain textures on the batmobile and Batman are missing on PC. DOF is used, but not as much as the console versions.
