Are all tires bulletproof in 2077?

It's great to shoot tires out in games. It looks cool when the tire rips from the rim and the car spins out or flips over in a fiery crash. Do you think the developers intentionally made tires puncture proof as part of their vision for the year 2077 or they just got lazy?

I mean trafic AI is not in the best shape. I just think they either didnt had time to implement that or just didnt need to. Police dosent chase you, no need for them to shoot your tiers

I was trying to shoot tires during the chase sequence near the start of the game. A car shooting sequence without tires that pop is just not for me.

Yeah I also tried that many many times during the chases. It just dosent happen :/

dunno... but in Shadowrun every car got smart tires...
i think its kinda the same in cyberpunk

I would say this could be intentional only if there is some in-game lore around it. Like if it were mentioned in anyway. But considering there are a lot of problems with the game I personally don't think it was intentional.

Well the other day I tried firing on my caliburn's tire and they did disapear.

But it doesn't affect the car's handling and it still leaves tire marks on the road

Isn't this the first game CDPR is making with cars?
It may be a feature that was not in priority to develop.

But anyway since this game takes place in the future, it's possible to explain it by lore like tires filled with foam.

Car tyres are not filled with air in the near future. That´s not a Cyberpunk riddle.
We already have 3D printed tyres that have hexagon shaped chambers inside the wheel. They won´t deflate.
But I agree... as long as they have fossile fuled engines in the game, the tyres should deflate if shot.
I would assume, cars will be self driven, electro fueled and with bullet proof tyres and windows in the near dystopic future.

Their vision for 2077 was to not write any code that was not absolutely required, so...yes.

why aiming at the tires when you can just blow up the entire car with the correct weapon? or with the missile launcher cyberware? your scope is small

Considering the Car AI is based on a specific path and not at all that dynamic, I doubt they will ever have BP tyres.
