Hey,
as the title says - are there any documentaries about Witcher 3 props design?
By props I mean anything visually uncommon, from characters to items, monsters,...

For example:
The tree spirit:

What's the design based on? Heart? Some mythological entity?

The relic silver sword:

I love everything about it - the guard, the handle, the pommel, the blade with an inscription, and the fuller. How did someone come up with it? It looks amazing!

And what about Wild Hunt armors, and more specifically, Caranthir or Eredin:

I am mostly curious about Caranthir's crown and Eredin's shoulder plates. They are such interesting items.

Does anybody know what is the process of designing such props?
What does it take to design these - deep knowledge about the subject, brute-force iteration, one-time idea, visual sense and the ability to tweak things around,...?

I see it's quite a lot about the prop looking cool rather than being practical:
- the guard of the sword is probably useless like that - such high rotation doesn't protect hands well
- Eredin's armor looks absolutely unsuitable for moving and ridiculously heavy

What is your favorite prop?
Anyway, are there any documentaries about the design process?
