Right now I'm merely curious. Its too soon for me to get super hyped for both games actually. We shall see in the future.

I'm not hyped, because I can't be hyped when I know nothing about the game. When they release trailer then I will probably get hyped for a few days. Right now I'm hyped about CP2077 because they just released trailer, but soon I will recover from this and I will stay cool until next trailer ;)/>/>.

After the conversation with Letho and the Enhanced Edition cinematic ending? How can you NOT be hyped?

Of course I am,much more than for cyberpunk(I'm very excited tough).I have always loved medival/fantasy settings, especially in RPGs.And The witcher series were just an epic experience with a enjoyable world, great charathers and protagonist, decisions, interesting lore and a true unqiue RPG combat to put it lightly,TW1 and TW2 were epic games and experience and I can't wait for the next installment.I'm also pretty excited about Bioware's Dragon age:Inquisition,Obsidians:South park the stick of truth and Obsidians:project eterneity, but I don't have high hopes for project eternity as I have for the Witcher 3 and DA:Inquisiton.I am going a little off-topic here,my point was,the witcher is an amazing series and I'm super excited for the next installment.

Like a few others have said - TW3 will be a great game, and when the time comes I am sure I will be hyped.

Right now though, I want a break from the world of TW. We have dissected every aspect of the games, and are now just bickering over trivial nonsense. We have reached the point where we can argue for months over someones slightly exposed cleavage.

I am not saying that such discussions shouldn't exist, it's just so draining when it's all you see day in and day out. I had to take a break not too long ago because I couldn't stand all the negativity and politics.

Things have vastly improved since the Cyberpunk teaser, even though some people continue to be more interested in what the characters are wearing as opposed to the characters themselves.

How do you play the Witcher games then, as they are full of negativity and politics! ;)

Just kidding. I totally understand you as I am mentally drained too after all those political discussions start taking place. I had a few moments that I thought I'm gonna stay away from the forums for some time but so far never went away for more than a few days. I wish we could keep the political, social and worldview discussions to a minimum, but I guess they're inevitable in a community like this.

I think all this "hype deflation" and how TW forum looks like lately is also an important signal for CDPR to get things moving a bit.

The 5th of February announcement might be a good start.

I'm quite interested, but the lack of information is a bit of a bummer. After Feb 5th I might go crazy again (and play TW2 yet again :D )

I was thinking today...that, at least looking at "2013" in our date, the Witcher 3 is just 1 year away :)

(that is, if it's really in development and the mythical "AAA+ game in 2014" is the Witcher 3)

That is true, IF the Witcher 3 will be released in Q1 2014. If it's released in Q3 or Q4 it's more like 2 years away from now. :p
