Arena Suggestions

I actually started a poll before the game was even released to see if anyone else wanted an arena mode. It was 76 to 25 in favor of before it was pushed down the forum list by people writing about "romance options" and "how many monsters in the game", etc. And the funny thing is, if they added an arena mode, it satisfies those who want it and doesn't affect those who don't. People who don't want or care about an Arena Mode don't have to use it! After playing the game(which has quickly become one of my favorites ever) I was so mad to see they even had 3 areas where an Arena could be added. The 2 locations in Skellige and the One in the sewers under Novigrad. Hell, I wouldn't care if they just made those areas places where you could go fight continually without even adding a separate mode though a separate Arena Mode adds tons of replay-ability to an already 100 hr + game. I love the combat in the game, and want Arena mode to be able to fight whenever I want without having to search out opponents. Kinda like the Arkham challenge maps. I thought the addition of the Arena in the 2 Witcher was a great Idea and cant believe they haven't added it to this especially with all the great monsters and enemies they have created. I would also pay money for the addition of the Arena.

Please CDPR, you guys are so great to your fans, please consider adding this.

The arena from Witcher 2 !!!!

I absolutely loved the arena minigame from TW2, I thought it was a really nice addition for those who enjoy the game's combat a lot and want to play just that. Witcher 3 should have one as well! With the vastly improved combat system and monster variety it could be really awesome. It could even have a co-op mode just for arena. There's plenty of potential there

Please add some sort of Arena Mode with Blood and Wine

Cd Projekt please add an Arena Mode or some sort of fighting area with the release of your next expansion pack. Myself and I think others would pay for something like this to be added. It doesn't have to be a dedicated Arena Mode like the Witcher 2(though that would be amazing!), just some place to go and experience the combat without having to search for it. I've now beat the main campaign 4 times and have enjoyed each play through more and more but what I really would like to do is to be able to use the amazing combat system you created in a central location without having to traverse around the world looking for enemies. The combat in the game is so addictive, responsive and fun, and it finally really feels like what Witcher's are supposed to be, super mutant swordsman monster slayers and an Arena area to showcase it would add even more re play ability to a game I've completed numerous times. In much the same way as after beating Batman: Arkham Knight a few times I still enjoy going in and just playing the Combat challenges to experience the fun free flow combat system, I think the inclusion of a fighting Area of some sort would greatly benefit TW3. Time is quickly running out on The Witcher 3 getting any new dlc releases after Blood and Wine that now is the perfect time to implement an Arena Mode for people like me who just want to experience a place to have fun with the great combat system without having to traverse the immense distances to find action.

Time is quickly running out on The Witcher 3 getting any new dlc releases after Blood and Wine that now is the perfect time to implement an Arena Mode for people like me who just want to experience a place to have fun with the great combat system without having to traverse the immense distances to find action.

I suspect it may be a bit too late to implement a complex feature like this into B&W -- that is, of course, provided it isn't there already. We don't know yet. However, general suggestions for an Arena Mode have been made a few times before in the past. Therefore, your proposal has been merged with the existing thread.

I wouldn't mind an arena like the The Witcher 2 had but maybe add the option to play as Ciri as well.

They should make an Arena game, with multiple classes and co-op. And Fleders. I would definitely buy.

Arena with Geralt or Ciri would be great.

With Geralt obviously start of easy then go hard.
With Ciri start off hard then go insane and have like all three Wild Hunt main members to fight in one arena.

TW3 Needs The Arena

I know development is supposed to be done on TW3, but an arena like in TW2 would be an awesome way to put the finishing touches on TW3. It could give people so many hours of fun and be a great challenge to have the leader boards and such.
