Arena Thoughts?

Just registered to the Witcher 2 forums as I always just used to GoG one, and wow I love the design of the forums Anyway, to the topic at hand.

The Arena is just as the name suggests. It's sheer fun/mayhem. It basically drops you to level 1 and you fight waves and waves of monsters with intermissions in between. The reward system seems pretty balanced as well. I can totally see people going for the high score. I think the Xbox players will be in for a treat. So far I'm not getting any hiccups and Dark Mode is insanely hard even if you make the slightest mistake. What do you guys think?

I honestly think I'll have more fun with this than the BF3 beta.

Arena mode is pretty good so far.

There are a couple of places of power you can visit before going into battle, but dark mode is still pretty tough (yet to pass the 4th wave).

On the start menu, choose to register and enter your account name and password.

After you die in the arena, you can choose to upload your score (bottom left corner of screen).

Honestly yes, i rally like new Training and Arena is just side element, so it doesn't really change anything as far is not connected to main story, i lot more carious about Dark difficult and technical improvements...

Arena in self is quite good i like design and crowd, different shops, so is great...

All that stupid comments before released!!!, it just now prove everything that was unimportant, love you CDPR...

Arena on dark mode. Thats some thing to master. U hit 2 times and u die. I did got 10k score in it but i raged and ESC pretty much without posting the score i think xD

Hey, I'm not a big FPS fan myself. It's a free beta and I thought I'd give it a shot, but Origin/EA is terrible at coding at logistics. I haven't even downloaded the beta and probably won't due to how badly Origin runs. It was just a thought.

Anyway, loving 2.0 so far.

Are you referring to the launcher menu? Because when I click in registered users simply opens a tab in my Firefox of this page to login with my user and then it goes to this forum index. I tried to let the Firefox running with my user logged but Im not able to upload my Arena score. Or there's other place in a ingame menu to register this account?

If the launcher menu shows 'Registered users' you will have already registered an account with the game. The only thing I can think of is that your firewall is blocking the game from connecting to the internet. Try checking your firewall settings.
Also, make sure you select to upload your score after you die (if it uploads, it will tell you).

Same here. The launcher just takes me to teh forum. I registered the game when it came out but I don't think this account is in any way connected to the cd key. Can't see a way to edit it in the profile either.

When we finally manage to upload our scores I say we freaking cheer on whatever score we have, cause when Flash pops up he's gonna own us all with his 2600000 score

Arena is just great!!! What I especially like - it allows you to quickly take a look at advanced items, especially swords, jackets.

My first try was on Easy but after wave 18 I accidentally pressed F9 and you can imagine that I can't write here how I commented this. So CD Project: if F5 is blocked, please block F9 in the arena mode as well

First of all, the Arena mode is awesome! First time I tried in hard and I died at the first wave . Yes I'm a lame, but I will do this better. Tomorrow I' try again .

Meh, if you like to spam quen 25/7 than yea, arena is pretty cool. But if you like swordsmanship than arena is a HUGE pain in the A, no way to get any far, without 30 mins fights( due to constant rolling)
