Geralt can use only a silver and a steel sword. Well, he can also use other weapons, but... are useless.

Some of the other weapons work just fine, they're just redundant. Still, I did enjoy occasionally bashing something with a hammer in the first game. The Operator's staff was pretty dope too:

I'm sure modders will have that covered about an hour after the game is released.

These are all only concepts, they all look pretty unfninished, the most basic Witcher 2 armor looks better than all of them combined honestly.

I don't dislike 2/3 of the new armors, but I think they should also put in all the best armors of the first two games, that were really awesome, particularly in TW1.

Actually thats new concepts of armors even unfinished provides more defense to Geralt, than much of Witcher 2 armors, which were more just like leather shirts.Only few of dublets and shirts there can provide any protection, basicly padded and covered with chainmail.Other sets of heavy armor mostly looks just the same.

Not sure of the long coat. I like how it looks but wouldn't Geralt avoid such attire if it hinders his movements (kinda like how the hood on the kinslayer outfit looked like it would narrow his field of view)? But overall that looks freaking awesome!

i wander if each armor set has a predefined upgrade look or if it will have small colour&texture difference depending on what items you use to upgrade?
and what kind of items would you need to upgrede: normal components, special pieces- that you have to craft and tackon to the existing armor

Looks pretty cool i think. The armor on the right looks a bit like the cloak Iorweth is wearing. But i agree with HellKnight. It is probably uncomfortable to fight with. A real swordsman maybe wouldn't choose this.

Oh man.. I dont think having heavy armor slowing Geralt down is such a good idea.
This might really suck, it's a game not a simulator. I want to have fun in whatever armor I have Geralt in.
Let me guess.. we will have speed runes for the slow heavy armor meh maybe it will be alright who knows.

Knights are real swordsmen and they chose gothic armor when given the chance. This armor is light by the looks of it, there are no plates constricting the movement of the torso. The plates on the shoulders are partial and are flexible, the one on the shin doesnt need to move anyways.

Do we already know if these 27 are all or are there more?

Actually I don't see how this armor would slow Geralt down or hinder his movement. In fact long, wide clothings are pretty easy to move in; think of the outfits (called "gi") that Judo and Kendo fighters wear.
From my personal experience (many, many years of Karate, Ju Jutsu and Kali) I'd say: A good robe that's going way down, close to your ankles, may be a good thing to have, under some circumstances. If tailored correctly it doesn't restrict you, and sometimes it may even conceal what you do with your legs.
