How do you check what the player answered, and use it later in story?Flowcharts? Arrays? Global variables? Save to a file or what?I'm a game dev also, and I need the best option for my game Star Fighterwww.sierra-foxtrot.webs.comwww.apix.webs.com

It''s been 2 months and no devs ever answer my question about Stereo 3D readiness of the game. Come on guys, it's not that busy is it? I'd been once working 365 days straight, 10 hours a day, no weekends, no holidays, but I answered all questions within a few days, including inquiries from debtors and discontent mistresses. Man up and dish it out, I can take it, albeit I'll be dead afterwards but I can take it.

I played The Witcher with Nvidia 3D Vision (stereoscopic 3D or just S3D for short, on a 61in HD DLP TV) and it was a divine experience that no other game can come close. My question is: will the Witcher 2, being done on a new engine, be compatible with stereo 3D gaming, specifically with Nvidia 3D Vision setup? I hope some developer of TW2 will answer this directly since nobody else has this knowledge. It will break my heart if it won't work with S3D but I prefer to know the truth early so that I can prepare for the harakiri ceremony. :dead:

Hi guys.I see on the new dev diary you can import a save game to the witcher 2.Can you elaborate on the logistics here, as there is no 'completed game save' for the witcher the way there is for other games, will we be expected to import a save from the court yard at the end?

Ehmm... I don't like to do criticism, but I've seen some screenshots of The Witcher2. Can you "re-model" Geralt's face? :))) Really, the chin is too protruding or long compared to The Witcher1, or the jaw is too tight, and this takes off charisma from the character! ...logically, in my opinion. His glance seems less intense.About the gore, it will be possible an option to exclude just the blood from the screen? Ok, blood everywhere, but not on the screen!Sorry if you've already answered my questions somewhere.bye

Hello Witcher team, long time no see.I very much liked the latest dev diaries videos. You say all the right stuff and i really hope you pull it off.My question concerns "romances". In the video the devs said that this time they will be more meaningful in story and possibly gameplay. Im hoping this is true since i didnt like the way they were obtained in the first game. It seemed too easy and not related to the game very much except in few cases but even then it seemed somehow forced and /or shallow. There was very little effect on the gameplay from them too thus all of the importance from them was mostly down to getting that card and then forgetting about it.Im not asking for some deep and involved story with every girl but some sort of reaction should remain after the act, right?Or maybe some girls wouldnt appreciate other ones etc.So, will there be more cards (i think they are great pieces of art and i liked them very much) in any form and what is different about getting a romance and their consequences (big or small) in the W2?-edit-ok, found some info in the FAQ. No sex cards this time but i would still like to hear how the romances will be implemented.

Hello. First of all, I'm a fan of this game. I also bought the enhanced edition. That game is my favorite. I wanted to ask you this question, if you please.I heard that you guys will release it somehow in XBOX 360. Can we expect it to come into PC as well, as the collection edition of The Witcher 2 ?My prayers for its continuation have been heard and this miracle came from you. :D

Just so you know that it coming to console has not been confirmed by the Red Team they like to ones the PC is done that all that was said.So right know they are only working on the PC version of TW2 right now it a bit to early for a CE I'm sure more news about that will come out when it closer to release date.

Will the game be semi open-world, like The Witcher? I hope so. I hate being steered from stage to stage like in an action title.

The only thing I missed in TW1 that I would love to see in TW2 is stealth. It doesn't have to be mega-complex like Splinter Cell or anything, but something RPG feel of hiding in all the cool shadows you have....Thank you for answering

As far as I know, TW2 world will be open like in many other RPG (Dragon Age, BG1-2....). So world map won't be limited like in TW1 any more.

Here's another question.Since I(like the rest of the world) am about to change the windows XP to 7, will there be a patch for Win 7 ?I'm afraid of that, because I heard that there is the issue with the backward compatibility of the win 7 for older games.

I`m sure that TW2 will be compatible with 7 in that 7 will be out at about a year and a half before TW2 releases which gives CDPR plenty of time to make sure it runs on it as most people have already switched and i don`t think CDPR would take a chance of alienating their fans with a game that won`t run on a new operating system. Some older games do have a problem with 7 but TW2 will be a brand new game with a brand new engine so i don`t think i would worry too much about it

I see. That alone eases my mind. :) A friend, who owns Win 7 64 bit genuine install CD, told me that the win 7 can't play pirated cds(that really is nice for me, because with this, the piracy will be prevented). Fortunatelly, it can play genuine cds.We tested it, as I gave him old pirated cds(I was a pirate, but not now. I'm a RPG and horror collector for all consoles with all regions), and it's how we found out about it.

How much of the original team is on TW2? I recently read that some members have left. This doth vex me greatly. :(
