There is a manual save. One of the devs said so in a different forum a day or two ago.Darrosquall said:Some hands on says that Cd Projekt Red don't give the possibility to have manual save. Are you crazy man?
HiNo you can't. Geralt will have only one hairstyle. But you can change his suit, like making him wear a hood.anmie23 said:will i be able to change geralt's hairstyle?, i know i probably can't but still.....it'll be cool to have that feature, maybe you can patch that somehow?it's just a minor thing anyway.
This has been explained by Tomasz Gop in the Spring Conference, on 14th April (the video is on Youtube now): you can import your savegames from the previous TW. When you install TW2 the game will autodetect your latest save and take it. If you have more savegames near to a critical point (eg the latest autosaves) the game will ask you which one you want to import.also, about the importing, can i use my save game in which i was at the icy plains before the final fight?..coz i uninstalled the game and now unable to play the game again because of lack of time.if yes what will be the effect?
I remember seeing that, but what type of item was the hood? There is no headgear slot so I'm confused.secondchildren said:No you can't. Geralt will have only one hairstyle. But you can change his suit, like making him wear a hood.
It was part of an opponent's suit. After he killed him.Exuro89 said:I remember seeing that, but what type of item was the hood? There is no headgear slot so I'm confused.Exuro89 said:No you can't. Geralt will have only one hairstyle. But you can change his suit, like making him wear a hood.
The devs have said that it would rain and storm but that there would be no snow .Mihura said:Will the game get different kinds of weather? like in TW 1? I never saw this in the videos that they show us.
No snow, indeed. But rain will affect gameplay mechanics. Increased damage from lighting spells for instance. Mages can make use of thatTommy said:The devs have said that it would rain and storm but that there would be no snow .Tommy said:Will the game get different kinds of weather? like in TW 1? Wow, now that is impressive! I love when the environment plays a more important role than simple eye candy. And since you seem to be in a pretty talkative mood... Do you know if the game supports 16:10 resolutions or will there be black bars as people fear? I've seen some screenshots from the preview build and there are black bars. Is this how the final game will be for those playing in 16:10?m6a6t6i said:No snow, indeed. But rain will affect gameplay mechanics. Increased damage from lighting spells for instance. Ah, thanks for clarifying. This should help calm the storm that has been brewing of late about this topic. And wow, you've been at the office for 25 hours on the weekend?? That's some serious dedication! I hope you realize that it is definitely appreciatedm6a6t6i said:Talkative, good oneI'm just sitting here about 25th hour without leaving home, at the weekend. Tired, bored, overworked, maybe that's a reason. Anyway it can happen that there will be black borders in 1.0 version. Just because we have still some issues to work on - related to gameplay - and it's just more important than everyting else. But for sure we will not forget about native support for other resolutions. It's just a matter of time. It's shame that we just can't clone ourselves

It does say on that shot that it's a preview build and not representative of the final quality.Exuro89 said:Is clipping going to be fixed with the sex scenes? There's a shot here that has really bad clipping(boob cupping) between Geralt and a wench. Column 1, Row 22.NSFW/Spoilershttp://www.skillpoint.se/text/the-witcher-2-stor-bildspecial
