True, good point. Being exclusively on the "next-gen" consoles should be reason enough for them not to hype up their graphics anymore. Hopefully.

most of them probably think that current gen means PS3 and 360. Its the best decision by far atm. PS360 totally holds back Next Gen and PC. Those new rendering techniques arent possible on PS360.
But why should someone be dissapointed when there will be an old gen AC5 though?!
Well, if some get disappointed because they can't afford ps4 or X1, that's too bad. Probably shouldn't waste their time on playing games to begin with, and earn some money first. Video gaming is only a frigging entertainment, after all. Personally I am glad that the devs are abandoning 360 and ps3. Enough is enough.
This is a worrisome query. Ubisoft likes easy, and easy would be painting the monarch as evil and the republican as the people's hero. Rather than the unfortunate King who inherited a cap ton of debt, tried to reclaim his territories, issue tolerance for non-catholics, and be a man of the people. And the huge hypocrite that is Robespierre.

Personally, I believe that any AAA dev who are still making games to be released in late 2014-2015 for old gen are holding back both PC and new gen console gamers. The tech that works properly on old gen is simply outdated, but unless they want to develop completely different versions from a start, the most PC and new gen gets is a bit enhanced version. Given how much games from the beginning and the end of console cycle differ in quality, everyone will benefit if the devs follow TW3, ditch old gen, and start tapping into full potential of ps4 ad X1. Sure, they will never achieve quality of high end PCs, but still it is something console gamers can look forward to.
Hey, you're right! unfortunately, AC story lacks any sense of politics (I'm still laughing at the fact I had to strangle a pope at the end of AC2).

You've probably heard about the other rumored AC game codenamed Comet that's allegedly being developed for XB360, PS3 and maybe Wii U.
Ubisoft's done a similar thing in the past already with the last Prince of Persia game so it's possible it's true.
I think you may have misread it - it seems to be as ShoMee said, doubts on whether it will be on Wii at all, not a suggestion that it would be exclusive on Wii.
Ubisoft has confirmed the next Assassin's Creed game will be set in Paris and only be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
