Yeah, you're right...

However I didn't say that.

BY MAKING THE FREERUNNING STUPID SUCH AS TEN FEET JUMPS OR THIS HORIZONTAL SHIT IT MAKES THINGS FASTER, WHICH MAKES YOU BE ABLE TO GET PLACES FASTER. MAKING THE ASSASSIN GO FASTER AND DO RIDICULOUS MOVES MAKES IT EASIER.

Caps are not out of anger, just there to clarify I'm not a moron who doesn't know differences of faster/easier

A great example of how the free running system has decayed is the removal of the manual climb leap. It was introduced well in AC2 and in AC3's new system it was made automatic.

Holy shit, is the English voice of Ezio terrible. This Italian accent is laughable... :p

Well, about the free running: I'm a friend of the more automatic system tbh. I never thought that pressing the right button at the right moment at a predefined position is something which makes much fun, especially if you have to repeat it all the time. That's some sort of "streamlining" which actually makes the game more fluid and focus it more on the important stuff (imho).

But neither AC3 nor AC4 offered much vertical gameplay so the comparison isn't all that solid anyway.

I think the freerun system should be friendly for noobs but It should allow some advanced manual moves for the most experienced players. It would give greater joy if you could scale a building twice as fast as you normally would by just holding the forward button.

Also Roger Craig Smith did a tremendous job with Ezio's voice

AC was never a game about great challenge if you ask me...and that's just fine.

And that's one of the reasons, I feel anyway, that it just keeps going downhill. I like when a chase or fight goes awry, it makes you think on your feet when that happens. Granted that's a rare thing that happens. Without real challenges it's devolved into nearly pure repetition.

The three most challenging things to date(for me)were probably:
1. Getting 100% sync on the Charles Lee chase. Which I had heard they dumbed down.
2. Getting Thomas Hickey without hitting bystanders
3. Trying to climb up a tall building while outrunning ten or more enemies.
Bonus: I did have a hard time with two of the legendary ships in 4.

And I can't really think of anything else that actually felt challenging.

Well Unity has a nice environment at least!

I'll still probably wait until it goes half-price though!

Looks kind of like an 1800 French officer's jacket. Very similar to the uniform that Napoleon wore during his early days as a General.

Didn't he used to wear his Colonel coat? Think he wore it even at Waterloo. Don't quote me on that tho.

I said it looks similar. I doubt it is that but it looks like it. I thought that at Waterloo he wore a Guard Horse Chasseur officers uniform...

In any case the one on the screenshot is way too posh for someone who's trying to stay hidden from the authorities.

Nothing says inconspicuous like a chain-mail hood

In all seriousness though, I loved that they've gone back to the series roots.
