Audio is half broken

So idk why but every time any1 talks it sounds like they are distant, echoing, whispering i dont know how to describe it. They just sound insanely quiet and far





Im pretty sure i had this issue some years ago, but now i dont know what to do i try everything from updating driver,sound drivers and even verify steam files


edit: the music and everything else is fine, its just the dialogue

Might be due to surround settings (5.1, 7.1) or sound enhancements in the Windows Sound settings. So in general I would experiment with the available Windows Audio settings a bit. Anything that might alter the output.

Also, is it a modded playthrough?

No i do not use any mods

BUT now that u mention that sound enhancement i turn it off
