Automatic Passing

Automatic Passing

I just played a round where it kept passing automatically for me. I was looking at the opponents cards and there was nothing that gave them the ability to skip over my turn. I passed once and this is what happened. Is this a bug or some feature of Gwent that I am unaware of?

Once you select pass (or run out of cards), you are signalling that you are finished playing turns that round. The game will automatically pass for you until the round is over and the next round begins. You can't pass a turn then play a card the next turn during the same round.

Unless you are talking about it passing for you during the next round as well?

That's exactly what happened. I had cards left and it wouldn't let me do anything.

Just to make sure that this is no misunderstanding:

- A match has 3 rounds.
- Each round consists of the two players taking their turns.
- A round ends if both players passed.

So... you passed in round 1. Opponent kept playing his turns. Opponent passed at some point.

Then you entered round 2 and you automatically passed immediately there?

(
Just as an example:
Round 1:
You: played the cow
Opp: played redanian knight
You: passed
Opp: played swallow on redanian knight
You: autopassed <--- is this what surprises you?
Opp: played adrenaline rush on redanian knight
You: autopassed
Opp: used Foltest on the redanian knight
You: autopassed
Opp: passed

Round 2:
Opp: played a blue stripes
You: somehow automatically passed <--- or is this what happened?
