Awful FPS no matter what I do.

So I've been trying to run this game all day, system requirements lab (a site I normally trust) said my PC blew the required specs out of the water. So I'm kind of at a loss here. The game refuses to run above 15-20fps on the lowest of graphical settings. The only way I can get somewhat of an improvement (not really) is if I tone my resolution down, which makes the game unplayable in a different kind of way in my opinion. I'm trying to run the game with the lowest possible settings at 1920x1200. Here's my system specs;

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 530
CPU: Intel(R) Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
7.98 GB RAM
Windows 7 64bit

The card is actually a little below the minimum specs. Try dropping the resolution down to a MUCH lower setting, and it may be playable.

You may also want to look at this thread - it's a little old, but it does give further info. I suspect you have the same PC as the guy who posted.

The Geforce GT 530 reaches about half the performance of the 8800 GT, which is the minimum card suggested by CD Projekt.

In other words, GT 530 is well below the minimum system requirements. Definitely drop the resolution and the detail.

that's too much resolution for a 530, even a 720p it will run only on lower-mid detail

Toned the resolution down a bit and threw in a stutter fix I found on reddit and everything seems to be working smoothly, running at about 30ish fps now. The game is definitely playable now. Thanks for the help.

The answers have been good. I was getting about 30 - 45 FPS on a Sapphire HD 5770 Card, with the settings maxed ( Except for the Blur things which were disabled ). You have a good processor, so you may want to consider an Upgrade of the Video card. A GTX 560Ti will do just fine and aren't all that pricey these days.
