Attention console players!

If you start playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will be able to continue playing it on a corresponding next-gen console. Here's how the cross-saves will work:

Awesome news! Now all I need is to actually get a PS5 one of these times it's on sale for 30 seconds for going back out of stock.

I hope you guys will manage to transfer save files from pre to post next gen versions on PS5 as well or we are all screwed (I mean when the patch comes next year).
I understand CDPR don't want to talk about it for obvious reasons (maybe even because you're still working on it and not sure you can make it) but it'd be nice to be reassured just on this aspect since not all developers (from other games) managed to do so.

Btw, my ps5 is ready (writing this just to annoy @Rawls )

Will we be able to go from console to PC? I'm leaning towards going for a PC setup instead of a next gen console...

You're not alone :p

*waiting for the 30-series cards to get back in stock*
Hi, I know this isn't the right thread to ask but do you know if raytracing (rtx) will work on the new gen consoles when the next gen patch comes along sometime next year? I was lucky enough to get the xbox series x ( got it on the release date and have not installed a single game on it yet, Cyberpunk 2077 will be the first one) and I know that the Ps5 and series x run the amd chipset, but will we be able to bask in the goodness that is raytracing as well?

My first post on here, literally just signed up, so if I'm posting weird it's just because I'm a noob here.
My question is, If I am playing on PS5 right from the start which I will be, do I have to use the Dualshock4 from a PS4 to play Cyberpunk 2077, or will I be able to use the Dualsense as the only controller?
I ask this only cause I have not played any PS4 games on the PS5 yet, and saw that if you want to play a PS4 title it needs to use the Dualshock4, unless the developer issued a patch enabling Dualsense usage.

Thanks in advance, and Keep up the great work you guys have been doing.

I have a PS5 as well, you can use the dualsense for PS4 games but not DualShock 4 for PS5 games.

Examples:

Days gone: both dualsense and DualShock 4

Demon's souls: only dualsense

@Mybrokenenglish Thanks for the response.

Have not yet tried any PS4 titles on my PS5 so being able to use the DualSense with them would be great.

My backlog of PS4 titles is huge but with Cyberpunk 2077 coming in a couple of days, that backlog is gonna have to wait even longer now.
