Beard Growth

I Love playing the Witcher 3 but I downloaded the hair and beard dlc and was wondering if there was a way to keep the beard that is like medium length or the second stage of it because it keeps growing out to the full sized beard and am getting really tired of going to a barber in the middle of my missions!

Or there is an option in the menus to keep it rom growing...no idea didnt download the dlc as I love seein it grow

I wouldn't mind if I had a mobile shaving kit or something maybe even use my sword to chop it off.

I have installed the DLC and the beard didn't stop growing, I think it only stops if you use a different beard style than the default one.
