Beheading of unarmed innocent man

On 0:51 in this video we see Geralt beheading an unarmed man...this looks too brutal for me.

Why would he do this?

There's probably a skill that allows you to disarm opponents in combat. I know Aard could do that in TW1.

Can't speak for the trailer, but in game Geralt will not kill innocent people.

The footage was shown along side other combat footage so it's a combat footage clip, so I'm saying Disarmed Bandit or Thug.

Might as well be, that the guy was just spawned in as an enemy with a console command and then attacked, it is a trailer after all.

Well I wouldn't mind killing an evil man. But he was unarmed according to the clip, and beheading is really brutal stuff.

I dont see any problem with it. This is a +18 game also.
And this happens in GTA and other games too.

Probably he was holding a weapon(and just dropped it), reaching for a weapon or was about to cast a spell.

Which is why Geralt ... uh... "Moderates" it so effectively. He's getting pissed off.
