I've never understood why people dress up their dogs/cats/bunnies/horses/fish. Not only does it look ridiculous but I also doubt the animals particularly like it.
I'll observe that, traditionally, many humans have shown a tendency to enjoy projecting their human behaviours and characteristics on non-human entities, for a variety of reasons and purposes. Folklore, art, and mythology are filled with examples, some more meaningful than others. Basically, though, I believe the practice tells us more about the humans themselves, and, in most cases, the animals are mere vehicles of expression for 'human' images or thoughts.I've never understood why people dress up their dogs/cats/bunnies/horses/fish.
Naturally, one must take rather fluid measurements, and then scale for an approximate fit. If all else fails, just slip on any old thing. Fish don't seem to be especially picky when it comes to fashion. How does one go about dressing fish, though? They're quite slippery and won't stand still long enough to get their measurements.
It's not. But it may take the system a while to recognize you've 10 posts, especially if posting in quick succession. If that is something different to a "post" then
That's so cool! Thank you Moors- to have made me know.
Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!?!?!?!?!?! @Riven-Twain doesn't like Lord of the Rings?!?!?!? We need to talk about this Riven. The Hobbit Trilogy I 100% understand ... but The Lord of the Rings?Hmph. For as much as those dismal movies followed the books, I'm surprised Jackson didn't portray their weapons thus from the start.

Spoiler: I will take the opportunity to use this
I loved those movies. They're weren't as good as the books ... but I only know of one movie I like better than the book it's based on. So that's not atypical. All I remember from those are HUGE battles (which got old) and who I'm sure was Gandalf riding down stairs on that magnificent white stallion on his (the horse was one of my favourite parts of the movies). Oh, and the iconic "You shall not pass!" but only because it's so popular.![]()
Huh, it worked fine when I posted it -- but I know what happened. I was just dumb....a broken image?
