Best companion for Geralt

Because.

NOT INCLUDING ANYTHING FROM THE BOOKS!

Feel free to explain your reasoning for choosing the one you did.

I chose Triss mostly because she has been the single most helpful throughout the previous two games. However, depending how helpful Yennefer turns out to be to Geralt, that may change. I kinda get the impression Dandelion will be the obvious ''hostage'' Geralt needs to rescue. Again. And Zoltan... i dont see a lone Dwarf being all that helpful in Wild Hunt.

If I say either Triss or Yen, I'll be lynched by the entire community. Dandy Lion's too easily distracted with tits. So, uh...
Regis? With some luck, he might even be in W3, r-right?

Nobody.

... least of all Triss or Yennefer.

If I had to choose one I'd say Zoltan, as he's the only character of those three that I actually like at all (whereas I have absolutely zero interest in any of the others getting screen-time, let alone having as a companion!), but I like Geralt to remain completely sidekick free...

Based on the books, I say the entire Hansa !!! Regis, Milva, Cahir, Angoulême and Jaskier.

Long live the hansa and RIP for the deads !!!!!!!

If a must choose one from, it would be Regis.

Me:
(1) I cook a mean stew (Griffins, Harpies etc.)
(2) I can tell a good joke now and then
(3) I come cheap and ready to serve.

Yennefer.

Dandelion earns a close second. He is a wonderful friend, and he is complementary to him. Together they work pretty well.

Just value things other than stability, constant happiness and cheer, in favor of passion and a deeper understanding.

I haven't decided between Triss and Yenefer but can I choose Roach(the horse) for the 2nd best companion for Geralt(not in the option though)? ;)

..in the books :p

I would also add Ciri (to one team with Yennefer and Triss and maybe all others).
